Kent & Stowe Stainless Steel Oscillating Hoe 100% FSC

Without doubt the best garden hoe I have ever used. With two large allotments, there is a lot of ground to hoe and keep free of weeds. I think I have tried over 20 varieties of hoe from all over the world. Oscillating hoes are more effective than any other hoe, as they have the secondary effect of bringing stones and debris in the soil, to the surface. Up until now my preferred hoe had been one made by Wolf Garten from Germany. BUT BUT when I started to use the Kent and Stowe Oscillating Hoe the German product was demoted immediately. The Kent and Stowe Oscillating Hoe is made from much superior materials compared to Wolf Garten. It has also been beautifully assembled and is an utter joy to use. I am overjoyed that it is a British product and rejoice a thousand times that it is so infinitely superior to any other hoe, on planet Earth. The joy of using and handling really good tools is tantamout to a glimpse of heaven. Kent & Stowe take you there.

This oscillating hoe has turned my gardening time around literally ... I can now enjoy refreshing the top soil AND weeding without any of the kneeling, bending double and infernal backache that used to plague my time in the garden. It has really made a huge difference. I love the way you can almost glide it over the soil and it will bring out any surface weeds with no trouble at all. The mega weeds needed a couple of passes but the dual action of this hoe sorted these out with no trouble compared to struggling on hands & knees in the mud. If you turn it slightly on it's side it will make a fair groove at the edges of the flower bed too so an extremely useful tool to add to your garden. I would say a definite purchase and I only wish I had bought one of these years ago. Highly recommending this hoe with a 'Goodbye to Backache and a Hello to happy gardening!' S :)

Good quality product, really easy to use, slices through weeds in no time!

Beautifully made garden tool with stainless steel head and beech handle. Superb for removing weeds and refreshing the look of your soil. Also known as a Stirrup Hoe and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Loved my original rotating hoe but a bolt sheared off making it useless. This one is different but works as well, I hope it has longer life. Use it to create a seed planting tilth.

Only ever used a ‘standard’ type of hoe before. This one is lighter and is a Gamechanger in borders and is easier on the back. Very pleased with it. It’s great quality as well, shows a very high standard of workmanship.

Oscillating hoe is the job for hoeing. I wouldn't bother with a non oscillating hoe. Used this sort on a large CSA veg box scheme farm. Seems good quality so far. would recommend.
