If you have never used a peeler buy this. Instead of getting your fingers or covered in citrus you use this very inexpensive tool and off comes the peel. Use the hook side to start the peel- I like to score the peel in all four quarters and then use the blunt end to pry the peel off. Works great every time.

False advertising!! These are NOT the Pampered Chef peelers. They are a knock off and not nearly as good or sharp. Buyer beware. I have the original Pampered Chef peelers and was looking to buy another. The true Pampered Chef ones are much sharper and actually have the Pampered Chef name molded onto the side. These do not and holding them side by side I can see how the name brand has a pointier edge where you first break into the rind. Which explains why these do not work as well. These are a rip off and should be sued for using the Pampered Chef name.

These are moderate quality citrus peelers made in China and distributed out of Turkey. They are not pampered chef, they are not as described, and they are of middling quality and effectiveness. In the future I will be more cautious about apparent "deals" like this and just go to a Pampered Chef dealer to get the citrus peelers because there really is a significant difference in quality and performance. The shiny one in the picture is what I received from this order (left side). The one on the right is the authentic pampered chef product I already owned.

Does not have the "Pampered Chef" logo on it as the original, and is made differently and harder to use, but overall works pretty well.Update May 2017: Purchased 2 of these. Ordered in December 2016, received February. Used 3-4x/week. First one broke in half, then, a few days later, the other one's hook broke off in the orange and had to be dug out. Go to Pampered Chef and order the original, which I have had for about 8 years, and looks a lttle rough, but still works.

This is one of those tools that you will fall in love with once you try it, and will leave you wondering why you every peeled an orange the old way.

Makes peeling an orange a breeze.

Used it once, and the little hook that digs into the skin broke. So it worked for one orange. I've owned other pampered chef products, this product does not live up to the pampered chef quality / brand. You can achieve the same level of customer satisfaction by flushing your $3.99 down the nearest toilet.

It works! Amazon was the only place I could find an citrus peeler. They peel the oranges open quickly and efficiently.

It works and appears to be sturdy. Great product.
