Bought for the competitive price compared to official Alexa plugs and was unsure but they work perfectly. You need to install a specific app but this works better than the Alexa app so not an inconvenient. Via app I can also remotely turn off and on device while I'm away, no need the voice or pass through Alexa, but Alexa had recognised those with no problem. Very easy to install. Will surely buy more

Very good small wi-fi plug. I wasn't expecting much, but the circuitry is of good quality, and the set-up was no bother. Will be happy if it last the year+. Might purchase more.

It didn't work with my fire tablet so I haven't a clue if it works. Teckin read this comment and was in contact with me asap to see if it could be sorted out, they were very polite, concerned and helpful at my situation. So the 5star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 is for their first class customer service. (THANKS ROMY)The problem still exists, the fire tablet will not accept the app for Teckin products.In conclusion I've kept the Teckin sockets as they are a great price and I will save up for another tablet that is NOT a fire tablet. Amazon lose a tablet customer, Teckin have gained one, with their wonderful customer service. THANKS TECKIN.☺☺

I have four of these now. The other two, being the square type.The build quality is excellent and they are so easy to setup, via the "Smart Life" App.They also operate perfectly, via Amazon devices.The unit sits proud from the socket, ensuring that you can operate the sockets switch, if required.The pictures show one of the units, fitted on a 4 way, individually switched, extension.You can also turn the units on/off, manually, using the switch located on the left side.This switch also illuminates, when the unit is active/live.Highly recommended product.

These are great plugs for the price. In my opion they're the best on the market - and I have dozens of plugs of many different brands! I have never had any problems with any of the Teckin branded ones and setup is a breeze. An added plus is the size of them... they are small which means that (even though not 100% recommended) I have them on top of some of the plugs on my 5 and 10 plug extension leads throughout my house - some of which are housed inside cable management boxes - still they work well.Setting up, as with other smart (IoT) devices is a case of pairing that device with the Smart Life app. I have other devices already paired on this app and so my home WiFi is already connected on there, so it's just a case of selecting the device in the app and having it connect. Very simple. The app is excellent and it allows multiple devices to be controlled in a simple clean interface. I have all my smart plugs and smart bulbs appropriately labelled in there - and it is very easy to switch them on, off and to set timers, adjust brightness (in the case of the light bulbs), etc...Extending this further to add voice command support isn't a great deal more effort. It is just a case of adding the Smart Life skill to ALexa allowing you to be able to voice control the devices from there - I have my Alexa app paired with a single Echo Dot, but will look to extend this.For the price, you can't beat these. I often check in from time to time to see if there are any limited time offers on them - there usually is and quite regularly, which is an added bonus :)

These adaptors address the fundamental issues of the previous generation (square) adaptors by Teckin. The Round shape gets 'around' the issue of the socket switch obstruction seen in the previous generation WiFi switch and also I'm very relieved to see the sensible revision to the maximum currant rating listed on the device. The WiFi switch is 10A rated (2200-2300w Max) and performs well.As with the previous generation, they stay connected and I've seen no dropouts so far. They connect using the smartlife app and connection is very simple indeed. The smaller form factor does mean that you forfeit energy monitoring, however in terms of simple setup, smaller form factor and ease of general use, you won't miss it unless you specifically need it.Overall these plugs are excellent value for money. Very happy with them and I would buy them again.

I have a few Teckin products including 3 generations of smart plugs. They are all very reliable but this is the best design in my opinion. I prefer the round shape as it gives easy access to the on/off switch on the wall socket. You will see from the photo that on this version, the base area is recessed making it easier to remove the smart plug from the wall socket. Adding the socket on the Smart Life App is very easy as is Alexa integration. The App is very useful for setting the timer on the smart socket. Overall, this is a great product.

I use this plug to switch lights on and off in the living room and hall. I found it connected to my BT Smart Hub without any problems. The Smart Life app was easy to install and enables me to switch the lights off from the phone. Very useful when I want to switch the lights off from bed. At half the price of the amazon equivalent I thought it was worth trying.. .so far so good. Finally Alexa has no difficulty controlling the plug. All in all I would recommend this product
