Fitness flexible, financially sound
I bought this resistance tube because I wanted a workout tool that would supplement my free weight and heavy bag workouts without causing more stress on my joints. This tube has worked perfectly for that purpose and I am able to accomplish multiple types of exercises with this.I mainly bought this tube because I cancelled my gym membership as, contrary to the reason I was going, I was getting too lazy to to get to my $10/month gym on days I had preset for myself to go. I decided to instead do workouts I could do strictly at my own house. I already have a pair of dumbbells and a muay thai bag so I started using those exclusively and they're great tools to accomplish my fitness goal of being able to eat more cookies on the weekend without feeling too guilty. However, I was missing out on exercises I used to enjoy at the gym because the machines I used to use were not available to me at my house. In particular, I was missing out on the pulley machines which would give my muscles/joints a rest from having to move those "heavy" weights I was using. Enter the resistance band, a great tool to give those tired muscles/joints a rest while still providing a substantial workout for those days when I feel the need to exercise but don't feel the motivation to use the dumbbells or wander to my garage to hit my bag.I purchased the blue (heavy) band and it has provided me with the perfect amount of resistance for the workouts I use them for. I have short arms so many times I will wrap the band around my wrist and grip it lower, which is double-great because it also makes the exercise that much harder, yay! It's hard to really describe how much actual resistance you're getting and which band is good for you as, well, there's no physical number attached to how much weight it is. However, you should also know that most exercises can be tailored to your fitness level, simply by changing where you grip. Case in point, my wife has also used this same blue band for some exercises I showed her by changing where she grips and altering her stance as well.I am a big believer in resistance band training and love the flexibility it gives you when it comes to the types of exercises you can. Your imagination is truly your only obstacle and if your imagination is not quite as active then there are also tons of helpful sites you can visit to find the perfect workouts for what you are trying to accomplish.I have had no problems with this band and it feels sturdy enough to last for a while. Time will tell and if it decides to snap or fail on me then my review will be updated to document its shortcomings.

Amazing.
It is so wonderful to be able to get quick workouts in during the week, from the comfort of my own home. I ended up buying the ultra heavy (purple) and heavy (blue) ones but probably should have just bought two ultra heavy ones (to double up). They offer plenty of resistance and work great, but the resistance level titles are quite off in my opinion. The blue one (heavy) is good for the lower body and core work outs, as its much less resistance, but even doubled over it does not provide me with enough resistance. The ultra heavy does the trick though. I'm a large male so that could just be my opinion. My advice, if you are an average sized male who is, in general, muscularly weak, the blue one would suffice. But don't sell yourself short, grab the ultra heavy one as well so you have something to upgrade to.If you are an average sized female, who isn't naturally strong, one step down from the blue would be about all I would recommend, but you should still get one to step up to. It is a good feeling noticing that one band is beginning to become easier and easier to use.I love these things, sure, they might (although they look pretty well put together) snap one day and hit me in an uncomfortable area but that is a small price to pay (and a very small chance) for the versatility of these bands. After doing several sets of a few workouts I found online/figured out on my own from past use in gyms, I can feel the "burn." They work like a charm, you just need to make sure you keep using them. ;)

Great Complement to Other Home Exercise Equipment
This product is a great complement to existing equipment, for anybody who wants to tone specific muscles that the other equipment can not target, at an extremely affordable price. It is lightweight, portable, and versatile. I purchased it primarily for the exercises that can be completed using the door attachment.I would estimate the resistance at about 15-20 pounds, based on the number of repetitions I can do with this as compared to weights in the 20-35 pound range. The door attachment works well and allows me to target specific areas for toning. The nylon bands around the plastic handles rotate freely so that everything can be adjusted for maximum comfort for the exercise you are completing. In general it seems well-constructed, and no part seems like it will easily fail. I feel safe while using the product. The included charts are actually helpful for me, allowing me to complete some additional exercises that I would not even have thought about. For the price, this perfectly rounds-out my exercise routine, and I may consider getting additional bands with a higher resistance in the future.
