Q: How does the vertical height differ between the mini and regular?

Another great question! Topo Mini is 2.47" tall at highest, whereas Topo is 2.7" tall at highest.

Q: Can this safely be used when placed on top of a (clear) desk chair mat?

Yes, I have mine on top of a clear desk chair mat.

Q: To seller: how thick is this mat? is it memory foam? i don't want to "bottom out" with memory foam.

I'm not the seller, but the mat is about an inch thick on the flat parts (thicker in the other, raised areas of course). I don't think it is memory foam, as it bounces back quickly when you step off. I've been using it every day for about 6 weeks and am not even close to bottoming out - I definitely can't feel the floor through the mat, and need to raise my stand-up desk an extra inch when I'm standing on the mat vs standing on the floor. It's a really great mat - 3 others in my office also have it and we're all very happy with it. Hope that helps!

Great question! Topo Mini was tailored to the anatomy of users 5'4" and shorter, but if space is limited, it's a great option for just about everyone.
