Central Pneumatic 2.5 Horsepower, 21 Gallon, 125 PSI Cast Iron Vertical Air Compressor

Love this compressor works great came in pretty good condition one of the gauges was broken so I replaced it. It works very well keeps up with all my air tools even my grinder and air hammer.The only real problem I had was with the seller Creative Online Solutions in their listing they said this product would be sold from and shipped from KY which was the reason I choose them. I was in a time crunch and shipping from KY to PA would only be a few days I had ordered it on a Saturday and needed for the next Saturday. That was not true it was drop shipped from CA and I had to borrow a compressor to do the job I needed because the shipping took far longer than expected. This seller had my negative feedback removed after I called him out for listing that it was shipped from Ky while it was actually drop shipped from CA. I see he has finally fixed the listing after several complaints to Amazon.

When it was received the box was beat up. Due to going thru cancer treatment, I am just getting around to unboxing the compressor. I used the instructions that came with the unit to get it setup. Once it was turned on, I noticed that the tank would not fill with any pressure. Over a couple of days trying to start it and troubleshoot, and checking for air leaks (5 run times) I didn't find anything.At this point I am stuck at the assembly instructions in the owners manual for the 30 minute break in. No air is being pumped out, but I let it run for about 10-15 minutes. When I shut it off, I noticed that oil was running down the side of the tank. It looks to be misting out between the motor and the regulator.I have added 2 pics where the oil is collecting and dripping from. Looking to get repair parts or return for replacement.Still no response on this. Michaelsons?

It gets the job done

I purchased one of these from Harbor Freight and have made good use of it. Things to note about this compressor:-The cold start relief valve out-of-the-box is junk, mine would immediately stick. A little machine oil/WD40 on occasion seems to fix it. On occasion, I've had to remove it. It either sticks open, letting air out, or sticks close, which is probably the issue with the majority of the 'trips breaker' complaints mentioned in the comments. The motor can't spin up/chugs when the valve is stuck. This is a $5 part and is super easy to service, so I can't even call this a complaint at the price.-Motor seems to run hot during the summer. I put a extra fan on it and had no problem running it with a sand blaster for several hours at a time. The compressor seems to keep up well enough with grinders, sand blasters, and other high cfm tools with moderate use. Haven't used it with paint tools, so I can't tell you if it surges.-Seals seem sealed with red loctite, which is fine but seems to crack if you tighten on a fitting too hard.-Use a high grade synthetic oil, I heard many people this this compressor runs much better with Royal Purple than the stock oil.-This compressor takes quite a bit of current to kick on, if you're on a 120v 10a circuit or using long, cheap extension cables, expect trouble.-Damn is this thing loud, I've had Briggs & Stratton motors that were silent in comparison. Earplugs loud.-Appears to use all of the standard air compressor fittings through the entire design.If you want a cheap compressor that can air fast, you don't mind making a few modifications, don't mind the noise, and have some technical know-how then this is a pretty good deal. If not, I would not recommend it.

Came in fine as usual from Amazon and assembled easy enough. Seems to be working fine however both of the pressure gauges are faulty. One moves 20 lbs in either direction depending on if you tap it or not and the other needle doesn't move at all. I guess I'll need to buy new gauges.
