Very nice locomotive with good amount of detail. Sounds great, Hornby do it again. However the locomotive could be heavier to sit better on the track. They should go back to die cast bodies, plastic is just not good enough.

Brilliant. This is the first digital loco I’ve bought and it is brilliant. Sounds work and follow the speed of the train well. Train looks great runs very smoothly even at extremely slow speeds. Drives my wife mental which cheers me up :)

Beautiful engine but had to return mine and swap as this is DCC 'fitted' as opposed to 'ready' so it will not function on a regular analogue controlled layout. For that you will need the R3371.

Very pleased with the loco, good quality item and quick delivery

For the price this loco is a real bargain. Very smooth running. The only issue I have is the volume settings. It's very loud on the lowest setting, so if you have a layout in a small room this may be a bit over the top. Otherwise excellent.Sound problem solved. I replaced the speaker with a “sugar cube” one. Much better. Vol control set at 3.

Doesnt work, faulty, just wont move. Net alone make any noise.

Really good value for a sound locomotive. Some detail less but more than made up by the price saving.

the loco needed at least 10 mins running before smooth but after the loco can go flat out though three point in a row ! the boggy needed a service lubrication but other than that perfect and for 20% cheaper than Hornby website
