Great pedals for recreational / urban / trekking use.
One of the few composite-body designs with sealed bearings on the market. No screw-in pins to fall out. Not really intended for off-road in the rocks.. they would probably get destroyed pretty quickly. Stick to alloy pedals for mountain use. The OEM for these pedals is actually VP Components, and they are sold under several brand names. .Google "VP-538" for more info. Quite lightweight. My sample weighed several grams lighter than the advertised 290 per pair, and I saved 60 grams over my stock pedals. The picture here on Amazon doesn't show the nicely integrated built-in reflectors on the pedal ends.

The Best Pedals you can get for fitness and pleasure riding
The Redline Monster pedals are light weight, rugged, and the cleats are resin, so they don't eat into your feet like the Fookers and Chester pedals.

Best low-cost plastic pedals.
I bought these because they were the best looking plastic pedals I could find to match my bike. Indeed they look good in person and match my bike well. The bearings are surprisingly very smooth and not overpacked with grease like other "low-cost" pedals. the only drawback were the "MONSTER" logos. I rubbed them off with acetone.Note: these exact pedals can be found from rebadged by other manufacturers and possibly at lower price. I went with these because of Amazon Prime benefits.

Great pedal for the $$$
Great pedal for the price...great for kids bike... plastic pins wear/break with serious trail use (rocks, roots, etc) bearings appear to be holding up well....

Nice upgrade
I got this to upgrade my comute bike this are a little lighter than my older pedals and also more slim. Really easy to instal since you can use an allen key instead og a torq wrench.

Good value.
Pretty sick pedals at a good price, make sure you use a bit of grease when you install them.
