I ordered two times, before they were able to deliver it. The island says with stools, but it comes with chairs, just as pictured. The island was relatively easy to put together, about 2 hours or less and the Instructions were easy to follow. Some off the little screws were hard to screw in, but it could have been that our screwdrivers were old. The one thing we did find difficult was lifting the leaf and the top base of the table once they were hinged together. You were suppose to screw the leaf hinge to table top, then place on top of base. This was to heavy for me and my mother to lift, so we placed the table top onto the base, then tried to screw the hinge to leaf to the table top. Very difficult to do this way and the leaf is not quite level. So if you can do it as instructed, you may have a better outcome. The chairs were easy to put together. The island is beautiful, with the added storage we needed and the set compliments the rest of the kitchen. I would purchase again.
