Q: You don't use synthetic smokes or chemicals to remove the bees from hives?

Our beekeeper do not use either one of those, no synthetic smoke & no chemicals. Also, our honey is raw, it's not heated, it's unpasteurized and it's unprocessed.

Q: Hi, is this 100% thyme honey or is it mixed with other syrups/honey? thanks!

This honey is EU certified as Organic (BIO) Thyme honey. It is not mixed with any other honey or syrups. It is 100% gathered from what the bees produce. The bee hives are placed so that they forage the thyme flowers, and as with any honey, they will sometime forage on adjacent flowers, so you will always have some nectar in the honey that came from other herbs in the region.

Q: Is Vordonia Greece a "blue zone"?

No. Ikaria, Greece was only identified.

Q: What are, approximately, the proportions of forest honey (i.e. honeydew honey) and thyme honey? What kind of trees grow in these forests?

The proportions are about even between the thyme and the trees, but can change every year. The trees are predominantly pine and oak.
