Beautiful replacement for ham-can or breadbox.
Beautiful chrome cover with a solid backplate and 2 cover screw options. Got rid of the 'breadbox' filter on a 2002 Lightning X1 and it looks gorgeous. Didn't require any ECM reprogramming on injected 1200!Plan ahead if you're replacing a stock airbox. The crankcase breathers will have to be re-routed to a drain or a filter - do not plug your breather holes! You could replace them with special filtered bolts (you can find these easily right here on Amazon). This deserves some planning and time for tinkering.I was lucky enough that this filter didn't require reprogramming of the ECM on an injected X1 1200 engine. No backfires, certainly no stumbles or dead spots.Note also that this kit includes standard screws but not metric; you may want to head down to the hardware shop beforehand if there's a possibility your intake is metric. Match the included screws with M6 of identical length (I was able to use domed Phillips without deforming the filter).Update 7/2020: Same filter was transplanted to a '04 Sportster 1200 Custom. Gets the airbox away from my knee and really shows off that engine. Combined with the V-Twin Manufacturing Breather Manifold kit, it's a beautiful visual upgrade from the stock pieces.

It was simple to install, it has a small profile and really cleans up the look of the bike. I recommend it!

It' TC Bros, of course it rocks!
Tired of my knee hitting the stock air cleaner on my Sportster I needed an air cleaner that gave me just a bit more space to pull my knee in. This TC Bros option does the trick perfectly!If you are a home wrench this should be a breeze to install. If you aren't or just beginning to work on your bike it'll still be easy. Just take your time, pay attention and you'll be fine.

Don’t forget bracket and breather bolts when ya order unless you have them
Just wish it came with a bracket to support the carb but I get being able to mix and match to make your own, I’m dumb and just didn’t read description, do t forget your breather bolts too.
