Mighty Mint 16 oz Peppermint Oil Insect & Pest Spray - for Spiders, Ants, and More

My fridge broke and over the weekend my landlord replaced it with a fridge that turned out to be infested with roaches! I have a service animal and the landlord's pest control company couldn't guarantee their chemicals were pet-safe. This was recommended to me by a friend.With no choice but to declare war on these kitchen infiltrators, I ordered a bottle at 6am while getting ready for work and I got SAME DAY delivery! I went home and with my battle plans laid out, and launched a ground attack at nightfall. The enemy roaches were quick to respond, sending out their fiercest and biggest soldiers at speeds only witnessed by the gods above! I sprayed every inch of Fort Kitchen, whereupon dozens of roaches met their rightful deaths, quickly and painfully, as I screamed at the top of my lungs and ran into the frontlines of battle, valiantly defending that which is my sacred home!Some say the battle lasted days, others say it lasted minutes. At the end of it all, as the peppermint mist cleared on the horizon of Mt. Trashcan, the casualties of war were made known to all. Dozens upon dozens of carcasses, belly-up in defeat...One fierce general escaped and retreated to higher ground in attempts to launch a sneak attack on Makeup Mountain in Fort Bathroom. My troops attacker with even greater ferocity, fresh off our victorous kills, and General Giant Roach was easily captured in the prison cell of Nearby Padded Envelope, whereupon he was unsuccessfully interrogated in a language of screams only the neighbour's dog could understand, before he was ultimately sentenced to a swift but humane death.The battles were tough and troops were weary as the night turned to dawn. But as the sun rose this morning, a clear message had been sent to all nearby rebels: Mighty Mint is an impenetrable force and if you ever find yourself under attack, you WILL come out victorious... Mighty Mint really works. I like that it is all natural and safe around kids and pets. It has a very strong peppermint scent when you first spray it. It does fade later throughout the day, but you can sense it is still effective. The big cockroaches enter the house from the outside from the trees and grass when the kids leave the door opened too long or through the garage. My granddaughter ran in my room and asked for that minty bug spray when a big roach was found in the bathroom. Now mind you her brothers grabbed a well know can of bug spray, but she asked for Mighty Mint. She is 8 years old. It killed the cockroach in its place and she was very happy. I use it to spray around the perimeters of the garage door and doors leading to the outside of the house when in and out activity is heavy in the home to prevent bugs from entering. Every once in a while they do find a way in. I was amazed how effective the spay was when I sprayed a bug that entered my bed room. I sprayed it with Mighty mint and watched it go round in circles , then flip on its back. It died . I will forever keep a bottle in my home. I have purchased this product several times, especially in the summer months. When the little ones have faith in its effectiveness, you know you have something good. Buy it you will not be disappointed.Mighty Mint really works. I have it on my sucribe and save because it allows me to always have it on hand. It works but get the bigger size. It just doesn't last very long. Kills ants on contact etc. it is good, just go ahead and get rhe bigger size. I got it and it is MUCH better.

I recieved the Mighty Mint not knowing what to expect. I instantly opened the top to see if the fragrance was overpowering and surprisingly it was not. Its plant based.....Both of my children along with myself are asthmatic and it didnt bother us one bit....I sprayed a few areas not only did it gives off a pleasant scent, but I haven't seen any of the small jumping spiders, gnats or fruit flies. 10 out of 10 I would recommend!

I don't mind a few spiders in my house. I live in a wooded area and spiders will come. So will stink bugs in the summer. Ants. I'd rather keep the ants and stink bugs out. And the big wolf spiders that occasionally like to come in and surprise me with their big ol' awesomeness.So I sprayed this all around the garage doors and the door leading in to the garage, and as well the door leading to my workout room that is off the garage. I have used this same spray before but it's been several years and I suppose it didn't work or else I'd have kept using it. Or maybe because it gives me a bit of a headache -- I wear a mask when I spray it and don't stay in the garage long, where I spray it.This bottle doesn't seem as pepperminty as the last one - I remember it to be very minty. Maybe that's my lingering parosmia altering the scent some.I don't know if it would work all the time or some of the time. I did see a spider in the garage so there's that. I didn't mind it there but it did make me wonder.I also don't want to kill the spiders, only chase away the wolf spiders. And to keep too many from coming into my house, as they will tend to take over if allowed.But, I don't see why I couldn't just buy some peppermint essential oil and make my own if I wanted to try peppermint as a deterrent, though essential oil can be just as pricey!If all this sounds wishy washy it is because I just am not sure how effective it is. Maybe more time will tell. Or maybe if it cuts down on the spiders, ants, stink-bugs, that will in itself be good. I need to give this some more time.
