Delicious Earl Grey that keeps a long time
I received my box of Earl Grey with a free bonus 10%! My original metal can is about empty, so I’ll have more than enough tea to refill it. I’ve not tried any other flavors of Ahmad brand, but I might in the future. The price is right, and in the tin, it keeps quite a long time. I use my Keurig and get a consistent brew every time.

Good Tea at a Reasonable Price😋😍
This is very good tea as the leaves are on the young and tender side and uniformly colored without a lot of stems. It is shaped into the traditional gunpowder style and brews up a very mellow brew that reminds me of a quality oolong. If you like the flavor of a good oolong tea, then you will like this. I appreciate the plain packaging that allows for a reasonable price for a quality product and I will most definitely be a return customer.

Rich & Flavorful – A Perfect Cup
Ahmad Tea’s Barooti Assam Loose Leaf is a delight for black tea lovers. From the moment you open the package, the deep, malty aroma with subtle fruity notes sets the stage for an exceptional brew. One of the standout qualities is its natural sweetness - even those who usually add sugar or honey may find it unnecessary. The tea has a beautifully balanced depth, with a touch of fruitiness that lingers after each sip. It’s strong enough to handle milk if preferred, but honestly, it’s perfect on its own.

Very strong bergamot flavor
I'm enjoying my first pot of Ahmad Tea -- Aromatic Earl Grey. The balance between bergamot and tea flavor leans very heavily towards Bergamot. Weak tea flavor, strong bergamot flavor. If that's "your cup of tea", this is definitely the tea for you! Myself, I find it a bit strong. I will blend unflavored black tea with this tea to tone it down a bit.The color and scent of the tea is lovely. The tea is very fresh.I ordered this in November 2023. Packing date as indicated on box is June 20, 2023 and best by date is June 20, 2026. I appreciate the full disclosure on the box.Pros:- Value for money.- If you love strong bergamot, this tea is for you!- Attractive box. It could be a gift. You'd still wrap it, but looks better than a grocery store tea box.- Packing date and best buy date printed on box.- Arrived very fresh.- Great scent, great color.Neutral:- I can feel the caffeine in this tea. My guess (this is only a guess, but I drink a pot of tea every day) is thatit is well caffeinated. If you like your caffeine, this is the tea for you!- Distributed by Ahmad Tea of London and packed in Sri Lanka.Cons:- May be heavily flavored for your taste if you are accustomed to grocery store Earl Grey tea as I am.- A pound of tea is a lot of tea. You'll have to repackage it in airtight containers to keep it fresh. Thepackage tells you to store it in an airtight container.- The envelope in the box folds closed but not as securely as, for example, a Lipton loose tea foilenvelope. Repackaging is definitely advised.

Shockingly Good. Great price. Made it easy to switch from coffee.
Had trouble deciding between a straight black tea and an Earl Grey. Then I saw this blend of black tea and a little of the bergamot that characterizes the Earl Greys. Just perfect. I really like the fact that I can get a good caffeine jolt with 2 or 3 grams of leaves, and later reuse them twice and get the same flavor but with very little caffeine. If I ever really need more, I've got a little bottle of caffeine tablets.ALSO JUST tried their GUNPOWDER SUPREME green tea. Don't think I've ever had a green tea, so I can't compare to others, but it's a very nice, gentle and relaxing tea. The 'GUNPOWDER' name doesn't refer to taste or effect, but the fact that the leaves are rolled up tightly into little balls that relax into larger leaf pieces during brewing. The purpose of that was to prolong freshness - before rapid transportation - by protecting most of each leaf from the air.

Great Indian Black Tea
I love this tea; the loose leaf comes in a sealed bag inside of a box. It smells fresh and tastes great. I use it for regular iced tea and to make Indian Chai Tea. Great quality.

Great stuff and lots of it!
I took a chance on this and I couldn't be happier. It is really good AND unlike most product photography that looks big and arrives small, you get a VERY generous portion for your money. I'm a bit of a tea snob and this is my new favorite!
