Great product! Great workout!
I originally purchase the 2" fifty foot battle rope for my wife, who is a boot camp trainer, and GRIT and spin instructor and who was looking to shift her workout to build more muscle and strength. We anchored the ropes to my heavy bag stand in our garage and they work great for both of us, but a little better for my 6'2", 240 lb. build than for my wife's 5'1", 100 lb. frame. She was able to work with the ropes but as I watched her, I noted that it was more difficult for her small hand to hold the 2" diameter rope ends and that, at her smaller height, the 25" length of thicker rope was challenging to move in a way that might lead to injury and that would be more doable if she could build toward it. For that reason I bought this 1 and 1/2", thirty foot battle rope which she can anchor to her treadmill in our home gym or even to a bed in our spare room and run the 15" lengths of rope into the carpeted hallway to absorb sound a bit more than on the hardwood floor and rubber padded surfaces of our gym room. This proved a better fit for her frame and she can still use the bigger ropes when she wants to up the challenge or try different exercises (I purchased a rope exercise poster as well). The best thing about this smaller, shorter rope is that she can easily bag it and transport it to the boardwalk to use as a station in her Wednesday dawn boot camp class. She loves it! And she's already stronger! I use battle rope sets all the time now as part of my heavy bag workout--they are awesome and really challenging.

Great workout must have
Bought these with investigation first of many other deals out there. After in my opinion I felt the price for the deal offered was the best in class with 4o foot with strap and the cover material for the rope itself . I believe this should enhance the longevity of the ropes in time. Only wish for me anyway would leather wrap for the grip. Material on now is okay just not allowing me to get to wet and slipping out my hands before completed with workout. So for conclusion I am not rating for durability yet based on not used enough to give review at this time.Otherwise everything is as it says it is in ad and delivery was on time. Packaged as needed and I would recommend to anybody looking for a great workout using ropes for a good price.Brian H.Cantonment , Fl.

Heavy duty, great quality
I spent a lot of time looking at various options for battle ropes, both 1.5 inch and 2 inch diameter. I ended up ordering the 2 inch rope, 40-feet long. This BR was definitely on the expensive side but the quality is worth it. The handles are semi-hard shrink-wrap rubber and cover about 10" of the rope at both ends. They are very easy to grip and seem like they will last a long time. The 2" diameter rope is quite flexible but also heavy for maximum workout effort. The rope is completely concealed inside a tough nylon fabric sleeve for protection. This was important to me because I use it in my home gym with a concrete floor which eventually could damage the rope. The BR also comes with two attachment straps made from seatbelt type nylon strapping with loops. These work great for attaching to a D-ring, a carabiner, an eyebolt, around a steel pole, around a workbench leg. Anchor hardware is not included.I have used this for several traditional BR exercises and I've also hung it from the ceiling for climbing & grip exercise. The nylon sleeve over the BR makes climbing a bit tougher since you slip just a bit on each grab, but it works fine. Overall this is exactly what I wanted, 5-stars.

Great ropes for home gym
I originally purchased the 2.5 diameter rope for our home gym since my husband and I are in pretty good shape and workout consistently. I wanted a pretty heavy rope since that is what we were used to having in our old gym before converting our garage into a gym. I ended up returning and purchasing the 2 inch diameter rope simply because the grip on the 2.5 rope was HUGE and I couldn’t fit my hand around it to get a good enough grip and really move the ropes. I had my husband try it out, he’s 6’1 200 lbs and larger-framed and he even had a hard time griping it well enough to feel like he was moving the ropes and getting an efficient workout. With that being said, the width on the 2 in rope is great, it’s definitely not as heavy but still a great cardio workout. The ropes are really durable and great for using in the garage or outside. The only reason I deducted a star is because I feel that the 2.5 inch could have been made with a tapered grip and having the large grip limits the use to a very, very small population. I’ve included pics of both sizes in case you need help deciding between the two

This rope workout will kick your a$$!
I always wanted a rope for my home workout. I am 6 ft, 200 lbs, in pretty good shape. Not a weakling, but not a gym rat. The 30 ft rope fits perfectly in my garage. It seems to be sturdy and long-lasting. The rope cover is a nice extra. This length is a great workout for me. I have average size hands and the 2" rope is perfect. I think the longer ropes would be for more physical badasses. This length is a tough workout for me. FYI it is too heavy for my wife and she is not necessarily a weakling. The rope harness it comes with is perfect for attaching the rope to something.

This is the rope you are looking for
This is a great rope and appears to be very durable, although we just got it.The handles feel amazing unlike some other ropes I have tried. We have a garage gym out of which we do personal training. So the 30 foot rope is perfect, particularly since many of our clients would not be able to handle the heavier and longer rope. And the 30 ft rope fits well diagonally in the garage. The outer coating is great and feels well made. There are cheaper ropes out there, but you get what you pay for in most cases.Don't hesitate on this one. If you are looking for a good rope at a decent price, you have found it!
