Rotted Candy 1st shipped - Amazon corrected
Update: I thought it only fair to update my review. I emailed Amazon and told them what had happened and they sent me out another bag within 2 days. They apologized and sent out another bag asap. I have to say that Amazon does have very good customer service.Original review: I purchased a jumbo pack of Almond Joy candy. It took about a month or so before finally getting delivered. When I opened them, they do not resemble an Almond Joy and appear to have went bad as there are white dots all over them and look like they had melted at some point. I don't see where I can attach a photo or I would. I tried to return but there is a no return policy on this item.

OLD, STALE AND BORDERLINE 'ROTTEN'
We placed matching bulk orders for these Almond Joy and Mounds candy bars, and we quickly discovered upon opening some of the individual bars that most were old, stale, and borderline rotten, with discoloration on the surface and a foul taste. These are clearly NOT fresh products.

I wish I could say it comes with rainbows as well, but for that you'd have to get Skittles.
Who knew Almond Joys could bring a person so much joy?I mean, as much joy as one can have while eating candy of course. This is exactly as advertised, a 20.1 ounce bag of deliciousness(unless you happen to not like Almond Joys - why even look for them if so?!).I wish I could say it comes with rainbows as well, but for that you have to get skittles. Good product, happy overall!

For Coconut Fans
So for many of you, if you're here reading this, chances are high that you've had these candies before and know what to expect. If not, then I would tell you that if you've got any aversion to coconut at all, to steer clear of this particular treat. That said, if you do like coconut, then these candies are definitely for you. The coconut is flaked throughout the center surrounded by a nice dense layer of chocolate, which is all offset nicely by the texture of the almonds inside. It would probably be more accurate to call this candy [Coconut Joy] - but then I suppose [Almond Joy] has a better auditory ring to it.As for the product itself, the pack of 6 that I received through the mail were actually quite fresh. There was none of that chalky-white film that you often find with a lot of the older candies that have been sitting in storage boxes, no, these were pretty much perfect. I enjoy the bite-size as well, since as one reviewer put it, the candy is already portioned out for you, so you don't run the risk of accidentally nibbling that extra bite at the edge on the full size bars.Overall, shipping was hassle-free and product was in excellent condition. The candies last a long time, but my suggestion would be that if you do not intend to share these with anyone, you may want to order/purchase a smaller portion, otherwise you may find your candy getting stale. My family and I have already finished our first six bags (lasted about 2 months) - and will be ordering again.

Allmond Joy moment...
By the time the package reached me, the cold-packs were more like warm-packs. Shipping was fast (I got the package a day after it was shipped). Seems like a problem with the cold-packs. Either they don't last long enough or I got a bad cold-pack.The Almond Joy candies survived after a brief quarantine period in the freezer. The grand kids were very pleased with the outcome as the snacking commenced. The youngest grand suggested that everyone take turns describing their "semi-melted" Almond Joy bit. So, all turned out well.
