Can you put argon gas in this bottle ?

This cylinder (bottle) is not designed for Argon and it has the wrong valve on it. Hot Max Model 23202 is the correct cylinder for Argon.

Normally you would put a regulator on this tank and the hose would connect to the regulator. Hot Max Model 24140-1, for example, with a CGA-200 inlet fitting would connect to this tank and then you could connect a hose to this regulator. Other manufacturer's regulators will work as long as the have the CGA-200 inlet connector.

Is this tank for a torch?

These are usually used with a light duty or medium duty oxy-acetylene torch. This is the replacement tank that goes with the Hot Max MM-1 torch kit and many others that are similar.

This is an empty tank for Acetylene gas (not for helium).
