Great question!! I hope the company gets back to you. But I don’t believe they are. All coffees like wine have hints of other undertone flavors.

Q: I don't understand why make a concentrate. Why not have directions to just make the coffee without the complication of the concentrate?

I agree - seems pointless. I don’t make the concentrate - I just add the full amount of water the first time.
