Excellent grill. It's almost too easy. We love this grill!I'm a charcoal Weber grill man for 40 years. Held off on gas or pellet or egg smoker/grills forever. I have to admit the ease of use and quality of the meat has been amazing! Pick a temp, and let it cook!Awesome grill!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was in the market to purchase a smoker that was easy to use and built with quality. Based on other reviews, I went with the Traeger Woodridge Pro. I was originally looking at the Timberline 850 but the Woodridge was a much better value for the money, and it has the most up to date features. Temperature control:With the Trager App, you can adjust the temperature without having to touch the smoker. The app is very user friendly, and it will turn any novice into a pit master in no time. Ease of assembly:What really impressed me was how easy it was to assemble. All you need is a 12 foot by 12-foot area and you can lay out all the pieces in order. The instructions are detailed, but easy to follow. Traeger provides the one screwdriver you need and the fasteners are coded so you know which one to use. They even provide extras just in case you need one down the road. Value for money:You get all the features of the more expensive Timberline series for a fraction of the price. Build quality:When you assemble the smoker, you can tell how much quality goes into each part.

This was delivered on May 16th. We used amazon delivery that included setup and haul off of our old Pit Boss (which was a piece of junk). The delivery guys were amazing and did a fantastic job and were so friendly. My husband has used it several times in the last 9 days to make ribs and chicken and he is so happy. Everything has turned out amazing! The WiFi feature is great and he loves that he can monitor temps, etc from his phone app. This is so much better than our Pit Boss and was only $250 more! Well worth the money. We hope to get many years of use out of this and will never get a Pit Boss again.

I had the old Trager model for many years and was very happy with it. This upgrade is excellent! The cooking temperature is better controlled, and I don't have to worry about the manual firing up of the grill and shut down. The smoke level is incredible. I love it!

Grill itself is amazing, but my issue is with the assembly. The deal on the woodridge pro was free assembly and delivery from Amazon to a location of my choice. The Assemblers scratched my Lid & Hopper along with dropping and gouging the short lower grate. I also discovered 16 fasteners and a couple of washers that the assemblers told me were spares, but they were not and I wound up having to go step by step to locate and put the missing fasteners in myself. I contacted customer service & all they told me to do was send the grill back for a full refund. This thing is 204 lbs. completely assembled. I told them I can deal with the scratches on the Lid & Hopper plus I have some Black Paint that I can use to do a light spray to blend. So all I asked for at this point is a replacement small grate. They told me there is nothing I can do. Lesson learned. Sometimes free offers aren't always better than doing it yourself.

It’s a great smoker/grill. I really like mine.It’s easy to put together. The only problem I have is it’s hard to light every time I go to use it.,

Great grill and very easy to assemble. General functionality is nearly idiot proof with both the on grill controls and use through the Traeger app.The only problem I had was Amazon messing up the delivery and assembly. Amazon delivered the grill blocking in my driveway and never assembled the grill. I finally had to ask someone to help move the grill and assemble the grill myself. I kept this as five stars because the grill itself is great but the Amazon service was not.

**UPDATE** I've now used the grill several times since my experience below. I absolutely love the results and the super smoke feature is awesome. I just can't do 5 stars because I can't help but fear the auger will stop functioning. At least it's been working since the first use.I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with my experience with the Woodridge Pro Traeger grill I purchased this year.Six years ago, I had purchased a Z grill, which I had mixed reviews about. It was within my budget, but I had always wanted a Traeger because all my friends who had one loved it.So, this year, I was thrilled to finally be able to buy my first Traeger. As you mentioned, I chose the Woodridge Pro model. I followed the instructions to season it on the first day, and it worked great. I loved the ease of building it and the connectivity features.On Saturday of that week, I gathered my friends and bought a lot of food to cook on the grill. I fired it up and set the temperature to the desired level. Everything seemed to be working perfectly. I placed the chicken, vegetables, and trimmings on the grill. For about 10 minutes, everything was going great.Suddenly, I looked at the app that I had been monitoring the temperature on, and I noticed that the temperature was dropping. I kept an eye on it and watched it continue to drop until it reached ambient temperature outside. I looked at the support page and saw that the only thing I could do at that point was initiate a normal shutdown process. I followed the instructions and pulled all the food off the grill once it was shut down.I waited a few minutes and then started the grill again. Unfortunately, the auger stopped turning, so it wasn’t getting any fuel. At that point, I contacted Traeger chat support, but there was a one-hour wait.By this point, we had to cook the food on our stove, which we did. However, the disruption from the grill had left the food texture and taste completely undesirable.Finally, I was able to connect to chat support, and the person was nice. However, it seemed like the only thing they could recommend was to completely empty out the auger, remove it, clean it out further, and retest the grill. I had guests, so I abandoned troubleshooting after two hours.The following day, I reached out to telephone support, which resulted in a much quicker connection to a friendly representative. After reconnecting the auger, I conducted a test, and to my delight, it worked.Since then, I’ve used the auger a couple of times, and it’s been a smooth experience. However, I must admit that I was initially disappointed with my experience, having envisioned owning my own Traeger. Even tonight, I plan to use it, and to be honest, I’m feeling a bit nervous. I’m certain it’ll work fine, but I can understand how I might feel at this point.That’s my story, and I appreciate you taking the time to listen.
