Buy it!
This hammock is great! We purchased one 2 years ago and it has lasted until now; we liked it so much we're buying another one! For the price it was very durable; I probably washed it at least 15 times and it stood up to numerous trips with my two dogs, who are like bulls in a china shop when they're in the back seat. There's not a single mark on our leather seats from the dogs. It's tall enough to prevent my one dog from trying to climb into the front, which she frequently tries to do. For the price I think it's well worth it!

Very well made product
Very well made and easy to install. It was inexpensive so we didn’t have high expectations, but were very pleasantly surprised when it was delivered. Highly recommend!

Great seatcover
This is a perfect seat cover as my pup isn’t large enough to jump straight into the seat, so this allows him to jump to the floorboard and then the seat. And offers the option for someone to be able to sit in the back with him if needed. It’s hard to find the split options and this one has been perfect so far!

Good quality cover
Much better than expected - good quality and thicker than most in same price range. Purchased the smaller size for Outback which hangs a bit lower on rear seats but width is good. No excess. If you plan to use the door flap covers the recommended size is good and provides higher coverage on seats. Quality zipper and Velcro on front seat side. Hard to find a cover with middle zipper for a pup that is used to visiting the armrest.

Protection for animal in car's backseat; can attach dog's harness to car's seat belt
My toy dog loves to ride in the car and I had been tethering his harness to the side overhead hand hold so that he could look out the window and front of the car while riding. My new SUV has seven airbags which automatically deploy during an accident----the front passenger airbags if deployed would kill my small dog sitting in the passenger seat on his bed. I found these dog seat covers on amazon for the backseat of a car or SUV and decided to try them since they are padded and protect the animal from being thrown through the windshield or being crushed by an airbag. It took only minutes to attach the back padded part to the back seat by putting the straps around the headrests of the backseat and the front straps on the front seats' headrests There are two straps each inside a plastic tube that you push down between the top and bottom portions of the car seat to anchor the seat cover in place on the seat and the bottom of the seat cover is slip resistant. I didn't need to shorten the width of the cover since it fit my SUV's backseat nicely. Small straps are included to attach the zippered ends of the seat covers to the back hand holds and you can open and close the ends of the covers, or in the case of my small dog I merely lift him over the side of the cover without unzipping it. In the middle of the seat cover there is a hook and loop fastener which allows you to separate the dog in his seat cover from a back seat passenger. I opened the hook and loop in the center of the seat cover enough to allow me to connect the dog's harness to the car's seat belt using a short seat belt included for this purpose. I then put two of his padded dog beds inside the backseat cover and he is high enough in the seat to see out the window without being in a position to have a side airbag crush him if deployed in an accident. Does he prefer these seat covers to sitting beside me in the front passenger seat tethered to the hand hold?...no, but he will get used to it and he is so much safer since I let him ride in the car whenever possible. There are two head rest covers you can use for the front or back seat's headrests, but it isn't necessary for my small dog since he doesn't get high enough to reach the headrests. It would be nice if the entire seat cover was padded and not just nylon running along the back of the front seat. The zippers on each end of the seat cover are heavy duty and both work perfectly so that you can let the animal in or out of the car on either side. I definitely recommend use of these seat covers to protect animals while riding in a car or SUV--I feel these seat covers are a good investment in protecting my dog while riding in the car. A safe alternative for protecting a dog in a car would be transporting the animal in a hard-shell carrying kennel secured to the car's seat belt but some people are afraid the animal would be trapped in case of fire if the animal was locked into a carrying kennel. Cats of course should be in carrying kennels and if there is a side airbag, the kennel should be hard-shell.

Well Made and Versatile!
I purchased this seat cover to protect the rear seat of my new smaller SUV. I use a crate in the rear seat, I wanted to keep it from harming the leather and to keep flying fur from getting all over. The cover is very easy to install and quick and easy to remove. My SUV is smaller, so the straps needed to be adjusted and attached around other headrest posts than directly corresponding ones. The first time I put the cover on the back seat, I spent extra time adjusting straps, but now its easy to remove and then put the cover back on the back seat.Another added benefit, is that when you attach the cover to the headrests on the front seats, you now have extra hidden storage on the back seat floor! In use....I train my dogs mostly in barns. Things can get pretty dusty and dogs get in the car full of mud, sand, snow, wet and dusty. Last night was a very wet muddy night. I loaded my dog into her crate, with NOT so much as a drop of water or mud anywhere, except a couple pawprints on the cover, as she got into her crate. Once the pawprints dried, it was easy to just wipe them off the cover.I love that there are panels that zip up to protect the doors. They also keep things from falling out of the car, when you open the doors. The zipped panels also further protect the inside of the car, when you let it hang into the door opening, when loading and unloading dogs or whatever is going into the back seat. The ability to unzip the middle of the panel that attaches to the front seats is also useful to allow passengers to sit in the back seat too. You can fold the panel under the section on the seat, or just let it hang to the floor of the back seat.I needed to use 2 crates in my car, which required folding the rear seats down. I left the straps on the front seat head rests, folded the rear seats down pulled the cover over the carpet on the rear seats and secured the cover under the rubber mat in the cargo area. I was able to zip the front side of the door protector panels, on both sides of the car so I still had protection on my doors. On the passenger side I attached the strap to the grab handle, to help keep that panel up, since the crates were against that door. I was using the driver side back door to get the dogs in and out. Rear was for other stuff. This cover is well made and EXTREMELY versatile! I feel it's well worth the money! It's already come in handy for transporting much more than just dogs!
