My old hotpot doesn't heat both sides evenly. I wanted a Zujiroshi Yin Yang but couldn't justify the cost when this is 1/3 of the price. I had previously purchased a small electric pot from this brand so we take a chance here. 1 hotpot meal done, both sides heated at the same time and fairly quickly. Hope this lasts a long time.

Love this hot pot! Having fun meals with it. Works great, from warm to a simmer. Easy to clean, just wipe it down.

High quality, easy to use and clean

Beware of this damaging the pot! The chemicals seeped into my food. When I first used this, I followed the instructions on washing the pot. After, I put my soup base, protein, etc into the pot, the whole room started to smell “chemically” I didn’t know if it was normal because of the “brand new” smell. But when I tasted the broth, it started to tingle me and my partners mouth/lips. We thought it was the “very spicy” soup base, but it wasn’t, it was inedible and tasted of non stick chemicals. It was so bad. I had to dump all of the soup and food out and I tried it again. However it continued to taste poisonous, even with water alone. That’s when I realized the hot plate was faulty and probably emitting extreme heat, enough to damage the nonstick coating. The entire time I had the heat on “Medium”. Me and my partner were sick the following day from it

These items take a lot of power. If you are plugging in one at a time it is fine. But two can cause fuses to blow.

Seller came to the rescue as Amazon bogs you down in return policy nonsense. The product works great for family get together. Fun to make hot pot.

The media could not be loaded. I can’t vouch for its longevity as I only got this recently. But what I can tell you is that it heats water to 212F in about 10 minutes. I was surprised the handles were at 98F when water was boiling. The surface of the outside pot was around 190F while the surface of the base (that the pot sits on) is around 110F. The heating element is as at 465F when I lifted the boiling pot.All in all, it is a handsome divided hotpot that suits my needs and warms my soul. And the fact that it does boil water means that it works… at least for boiling water, for now.
