It indeed does hold 60 shotgun shells. Not sure when I'll ever have the need to carry 60 shotgun shells with me, but if I do I know I'm covered.The 7 round holders are nice to throw in the bag, attach with velcro, or hang as show in the item photos.

I should've got this sooner
For many many years, I used to stuff my pockets with shotgun shells when I'd go hunting. It was cumbersome and really weighed down my hunting vest. This shotgun shells holder is so much better. I have no idea why I waited so long to get one of these. It holds a lot of ammo. It works really well. It's easy to put in and remove the ammo. The ammo securely stays in. Overall, I like the design and fit. I'm happy with it.
