Why did you pick this product vs others?:Installation was a breeze, requiring just a thorough glass cleaning beforehand. Simply let the product sit for a minute post-installation and then buff the glass to a glossy finish. It's as easy as that. I'm curious to see how it holds up in the long run. One tip is to apply it in the shade or a covered area to avoid direct sunlight. Be mindful not to leave it on the glass for more than a couple of minutes as it may make buffing a bit more challenging.

Absolute waste of money. Followed the directions EXACTLY the way they said and it didn't make one bit of difference. It's so bad that their tutorial has excuses as to why it might not work and they blame it all on the customer not doing it correctly. Well what's the excuse when the customer applies it EXACTLY how you say to apply it? This is the third product I've purchased from this company and not one of them worked as advertised. I'm done getting burnt by these guys. Just use the original and the best... Rain X.

Not impressed. Did a side by side with another product.

1st bottle the cap twisted right off was easy to get pad soaked to wipe on windshield which made me order again. This bottle I couldn't get the cap off, it was just leaking all over my hand. I finally got the cap off & applied it the same way I did the 1st time I tried it & I couldn't even see it. I cleaned my glass 1st then applied it maybe it was the sun? Guess I'll have to see if it got coated next time it rains. I think the bottle was defective as the pad didn't get wet at all it was just steadily dripping so I used the pad to smear that around. Before buffing it off with a micro fiber towel.

Honestly, I saw another review which said it perfectly so I'm basically stealing that one.I will say that it does cause water (rain) to bead nicely, but a lot of products do that and for less money.I followed every step, after watching the video twice. Clean windshield. All prior cleaners and treatments well removed. I did half the windshield at a time unit the up and down, and then side-to-side method, creating the cross hatch pattern.It smelled of the alcohol base shown on the bottle so that was expected. The windshield appeared wet but not like there was much of anything else in the bottle but the aforementioned alcohol base. I waited for about two minutes on the first half, and I had to hesitate because I didn't see any beginnings of a change.Nonetheless, I wiped it off with a new, clean micro fiber towel and moved on to the other half of the windshield. Having completed the same cross hatch method, I decided to wait longer for this side to "set up". About 5 minutes went by with no change. It took a little more effort to get what little has "set up" off from this side but not much. It just never "hazed" as expected and as advertised.That said, rain does bead nicely but the drops actually seem to cling to where they land instead of running off, much less sheeting right off. In fact, as the other review I read stated, the drops only moved off from the windshield while driving, and then only when turning or as speed increased to around 55 mph.It seems a good product to help "repel" rain, somewhat, but it doesn't cause it to "sheet" and remain clear, as advertised.I had higher hopes. Too bad.
