Product was delivered within 2 days. It was not cheap, but easy to installed and worked perfectly so far. No more water hammer noise.

Water hammers arrived on time and worked. The noise that the pipes were making is no more. The plumbing in the walls is not clanging and the washer works fine. I installed both water hammers on the washer. One for cold water line and the other for hot water line. 10 minute job.

Our new washing machine uses very, very little water, but what it does draw from the pipes causes a lot of water hammer.We discovered this ** after ** installing the heavy washer in a tight closet -- and there is nothing in the washer manual that warns about water hammer. So, if you are getting a new washer anytime soon, plan ahead for a device like this to minimize water hammer.What was worse, the water pulses into the washer in short bursts, so there was a lot of banging in the pipes.We purchased and installed these and have had much less noise from water hammer.East to install, although we replaced the included flat rubber washers with O-ring styles for a more secure seal and resistance to our chlorinated city water.Hopefully they will last a long time as they were not inexpensive -- offered at about $27 at the time of our review or about $13.50 each.
