LOVED the ball run!
We got the Connetix starter pack last year for Christmas and this year got the ball run and the square pack to add to our collection! We unfortunately started with a few issues - the week before Christmas it changed the delivery date from 12/19 to 12/31 which main my kids didn’t have their gift from Santa so that was unfortunate. Once we received it, we saw that there were two pieces that were broken. We contacted customer service and they got us a replacement one. Customer service was great. However that meant we had to pack up the one we had and return it then wait for a new one, yet again. So even though I ordered on Black Friday, my kids didn’t get to play with it u til mid January. That was very unfortunate. After all of that we have LOVED it! I will say my kids may be a bit roung for it as they cannot build it themselves, but if my husband and I build it they love it. It can be a bit tricky to use but so much fun!

A fun magnetic tile expansion pack
My grandchildren enjoy playing with magnetic tiles and when I saw this CONNETIX Pastel Ball Run Expansion Pack I decided to order it.Upon unboxing you are presented with 48 x Connecting squares, 2 x Double bowls, 6 x Right angle tubes, 6 x U-shaped tubes, 8 x Spiral tubes, 2 x X tubes and 8 x Wooden balls. There is also a 43 page "Inspiration Book" which gives you lots of building ideas for your magnetic tiles. The connecting squares are very well made and have strong magnetics which allows you to build strong projects. The squares are riveted together on the corners which ensures that the tiles will not come apart and allow the magnets to become loose. The clear pieces that make up the ball run are well made but they do require quite a bit of force to get them to snap and to fit into the connecting squares. While some children might be able to do it themselves I personally feel that many children will require the help of an adult to get everything to fit properly. This ball run expansion pack is compatible with the entire Connetix system. The Connetix system is also compatible with other leading brands of magnetic tiles.I helped my grandchildren incorporate this ball run expansion pack into their magnetic tile collection and had some really good quality time with them. They had a lot of fun helping build it and really enjoy watching the coloured wooden balls make there way from the top the bottom of the run. While they thought of this as playing they were also experiencing learning without even knowing it.Overall, this a great expansion set for any magnetic tile collections you might already own. Because of tight fitting pieces of the ball run some adult help may be required for children to get everything to snap together properly. Not only a great toy but a great learning experience. Recommended.Priced at $119.00 at the time of this review.

Fun for kids and parents alike
My 2-year-old and I have had a blast with the Connectix set! Now that we have multiple sets, we can build even larger and more impressive structures together. The original set, while fun, has a limited number of tiles and ball runs, which can restrict what you can create. However, the geometric tiles are well-made with strong magnets and a durable plastic exterior. Achieving perfectly flush shapes can be challenging due to slight misalignments caused by the magnets.Despite this, building tall towers and interesting designs is a lot of fun, and it’s a fantastic way for kids to learn about creating stable structures and preventing collapses. This version adds 80 pieces to your original ball run set, enhancing the building possibilities.Overall, while the series can be a bit pricey, especially with all the expansions, the quality makes it worth it. It’s a fantastic activity for parents and children to enjoy together.

My kids love this set!
My kids love magnetic tiles and we have a lot. These ones fit with two other major brands that I have. Though this set is a bit small my kids got creative and imaginative, and it’s great for open ended play. The tiles itself are high-quality, but I would definitely check the price based on the size of the set to make sure you’re getting great value.
