Brown Sugar Boba 12 Pack Box - Instant - Ready in less than 1 Minute - Plant-Based

I love this boba. It has a mild brown sugar flavor and it is very convenient to use. It is a little pricey but worth it to me. I like the texture too. Tapioca boba I have to cook tends to upset my tummy this one doesn't. I actually use it in Starbucks bottled refrigerated caramel macchiato coffee. It is very tasty! I sometimes will put some honey in the boba when heating it up makes it a bit more sweet.

I’ve tried numerous styles and brands of homemade bobas (pearls). My kids made boba tea salon quality drinks with these! These are super quick and easy to make, unlike the dried versions that take forever.The chewiness is just right and closest to the real thing that I remember fondly from Taiwan. Not sickeningly sweet like some brands either.Ingredients don’t have the ick factor so I don’t feel guilty letting my kids have this as a treat. We served them for a dinner party and they were a hit with adults and kids alike. Definitely will repurchase!

I have now purchased this boba twice. It has a brown sugar flavor that I struggle to replicate at home and absolutely love. I’ve never had a package taste sour or like it’s gone bad. The product has been consistent through every package I have used. It is tricky to get the timing right so that it doesn’t over cook. Once you do though it’s fantastic. I have tried both methods suggested on the box and found the microwave method worked better for me. I generally boil some water for tea and use the little bit of left over water for my boba. I separate the boba while it’s in the package, squeeze it into a cup, add just enough hot water to cover it, and microwave for 40 seconds. With my microwave that cooks the boba perfectly without it getting mushy. It’s soft enough but still has its chewy texture. After that I just dump it in my tea and add some milk. I prefer my tea and boba hot when I make it at home so I don’t cool the boba at all. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that it is quite expensive for me. I find it difficult to justify spending so much on this when I can buy three 8.8 ounce bags of tapioca pearls from another company for less than a box of these cost. If you are ok with the price then I would say they are worth trying. Just play around with the cooking times and don’t forget that you can always add time but once it’s over cooked there’s no fixing it.

I saw on here that a lot of people had a problem with the texture and consistency of some of the boba. What they’re saying is completely valid and the reason it’s like this is because the boba isn’t cooked all the way. They need to change the directions for how to make this. The best results I have gotten consistently are by adding a teenie bit more water, breaking up all the boba from each other, and microwaving for 2 30 second intervals. That’s just my experience. It’s a good instant boba though. I do enjoy it.

It came individually sealed for convenience. But it did not come with any syrup in the packages for flavor and the tapioca was VERY chewy and hard

Wonderful product. It's super easy to make and it tastes and feels really good to chew.

The key to make this taste just like it was freshly made is to boil them on the stove. The taste and texture is just as good as homemade!

These are the only boba that I've found that I am able to make at home that still have a good texture. They also only take 1 minute to prepare.
