Just like the bubbles made in the top bubble store. Tasty and perfectly chewy. It's divine!!!
Bubbles imported from Taiwan are the best. I don't know how the other reviewer is cooking it but I went threw 2 6.6lbs bags and I'm reordering from Amazon this time since they finally have it here. It's saving me almost double the price in S&H from the cheapest place I can find online.Of the 2x 2.2lbs bags I never had a bad batch assuming it was cooked correctly. Just follow the instructions or mine as follows:- Use a non-stick pot filled with water- I pour a tablespoon of honey for some added sweetness here- Boil the water until it's bubbling on high heat- Pour in the raw bubbles and stir gently. Once you pour it in the water bubbles would have subsided- Continue to cook on high heat until the water boils fiercely again and all the tapioca should be floating. If it's not floating it means it's sticking to the bottom and possibly burning instead of cooking throughly- At that very moment lower the heat and put on the cover until there's a slight boil.- Let it cook on low for 35 minutes covered. Make sure there is a slight boil so that the tapioca is moving around a little bit. If there's not enough of a boil it'll just sink down again.- Check back every 15 mins or so since you can never quite get the low boil perfect and the water bubbles from the boiling can spill out.- After 35 minutes is done your bubble should still be floating.- Turn off the heat and let it cool for 20 mins still covered.- After 20 minutes is done pour the tapioca into a colander and rinse with warm/cool water- Quickly put the bubbles into your drink and enjoy! The two bags I had I went through the first one in 3 months and the 2nd bag was still perfectly good. I went through the 2nd bag after 2 months and it was good to the last bubble. I would recommend getting ziplock bags and separating the 6.6 bag into smaller containers.I have made over 100+ cups easily and all came out perfectly using this method. It tastes 100x better than the 5 mins bubbles and close if not better than the ones served at the top bubble tea places like TenRen, KungFu Tea, Quickly, etc..In fact, I just made 5 cups worth today of tapioca and they all came out great!I would also recommend getting the red bubble straws from amazon too: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B1XS30E?Tag=finalcount-20

Wasn’t Vacuum Sealed
I used to work at a bubble tea shop and we used Possemi brand for our teas. It's a very good brand and I'm familiar with it so I purchased it from Amazon. However, this was a stark contrast to what we normally received. When we received this product from our vendor it’s vacuum sealed (as displayed in the photo) and all the pearls were whole and intact. I was shocked when I received the tapioca pearls from this seller and nearly all the pearls were crushed and only dust remained. I haven’t tried cooking it because I haven’t found enough whole pearls that I can use to make bubble tea. I will not be buying from this seller again and I’m upset I can’t get this refunded.

add a little sugar or honey and taste the sweetness
i did NOT receive any discount, nor did i get this product for free. i paid full price. These are absolutely awesome. I just got introduced to bubble tea / milk and I'm going crazy with drinking it. (laugh out loud) I ran out of the tapioca pearls, which by the way, with a little sugar or honey on them, tastes so yummy! I think I put more pearls in my bubble tea/milk than I do the liquid, well not really, but darn near. I need to slow down on drinking them though. The tapioca pearls have some calories in them. But over all these are really good. Came well wrapped so the pearls were not mashed, good to know, because I've heard of others getting their pearls all mushed. Not these.

Pearl broke easily. Melt and stick to the pot!
UPDATE:I threw away my first batch but I recently ordered a small package from nuts.com. The texture is exactly the same. Very fragile and need to cook carefully. But nuts.com offered instruction as followed:1. Boil 8 cups of water.2. Slowly stir in 1 cup of tapioca pearls.3. Turn heat to medium and boil for 25 minutes without lid (stir occasionally).4. Turn off heat, put on lid, and let sit for 30 minutes.5. Rinse with cool water until tapioca pearls cool down. It's takes longer time but still quite easy to handle. Exactly like the suggestion I got from the comment, this is the real Taiwanese bubble and you just have to cook it in the right way. Follow the instruction and you'll get bubble like in the restaurant! The supermarket one is easy to cook but has too many other chemicals so I will stick to these fragile but harmless ones.=====I really want to say I like it since it's made in Taiwan. However, it is really bad. The pearl broke so easily. Also, it doesn't taste good. This is not the first time I cook tapioca pearl and the other brands I bought from the Asian supermarket is far better than this one. I really want to return this but this item cannot be returned. Exactly the same condition described here: Qbubble Powder Tapioca Pearl Pound

Quite good, only negative is slightly more crushed pearls than I'd like
The value for the size is one of the best options I found on Amazon, and the pearls when cooked result in good quality boba. The only reason this isn't a five star rating is because there's quite a bit of detritus amongst the pearls, so I've taken to using a colander on the raw, dry pearls to sift out the crushed bits and powder from the no-longer-intact pearls. Most of them are fine, but this just ends up making gummy little bits when cooking and a less consistent end product. After sifting out, it's much better, but still not perfect. This was my first order of this size, so I'm not sure if it's the package, or the shipping that might have caused the crushing. Once I finish this bag, I'll re-order to find out if this is a regular occurrence or if I just got a badly shipped batch.
