Many thanks to all at Conklin
I owned a fabulously expensive pen, and when it required repair could not face the exorbitant price quoted . . . but life is not the same without a fountain pen - and one which requires a beautiful bottle of ink too. After much consideration, which included several trips to the shops for trial sessions, I finally plumped for this one sight unseen.I love it!The weight, look and finish are ideal. There is just as much feeling of luxury with this pen as one seven times more expensive. The nib on mine has the Conklin name and is very smooth.I've never given up on good stationery and fine handwriting, realising the inherent qualities of care that are involved in a hand written communication and the pleasure this gives. Many thanks to all at Conklin.

Stunning pen that flows beautifully
Writes beautifully straight from the box. It's a stunning pen, really great colour and lovely to handle, the nib flexes enough for my wild handwriting and the ink flow keeps up. I suspect it will just get better with age but as a fountain pen lover who likes pens to write well, I'd recommend it.Fast delivery, my only regret is that having been put off by bad reviews that I didn't get an omniflex too!

Superb value pen
For the money, I don't think you can get a better fountain pen. The resin across all the models is beautiful, and the pen itself is comfortable to use unposted. You can post the cap, but to me it does feel a bit long, although this will vary depending on the size of your hands. I use the Medium size nib, and find it writes a little on the fine side compared to many mediums I use, but its no biggie, in fact I probably prefer it. The nib is very stiff, with no flex at all, again I prefer this. So far I've found it performs best with Waterman Intense black ink, laying down a nice wet line. It didn't like some of the Diamine inks I put through it, but I guess its a case of finding a combination which works for you, and the type of paper you use will play a big part in how it performs. All in all I'm a big fan of Conklin pens and can highly recommend the Duragraph.

Great pen for the money.
Bought as a gift. Lovely looking pen best price around. Recipient really pleased but changed the cartridge as it wasn't flowing properly but fine after that, maybe the ink had dried slightly.

Poor Quality Control
The pen writes like a dream, with Diamine Deep Dark Brown ink. It would be a beautiful instrument in every way except I seem to have been sent a damaged item, with a patch of fading/discolouration, which runs the length of the pen, about .5 centimetre wide. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice until I’d inked up. It doesn’t say too much for quality control - and it’s a shame because otherwise it could become my favourite fountain pen.

Poor quality
Very disappointed with this pen. The nib was so scratchy it was unusable. No quality control at all. Chinese pens much better 1/6 of the price.
