FlossGrip Dental Floss Holder(Blue)

I love this holder - wish I've bought it earlier. I can finally floss my teeth without making my gums bleed. My teeth are very tight so using dental floss without a holder is a nightmare. For both, my gums and my fingers :/ Also, less floss is beeing wasted when using a holder which is a nice bonus :)As to other comments:* It's not too big, at least not for adults. It's just the right size. It's big enough to let you move a handle to the sides if necessary - and sometimes it really is if you have tight teeth... So yeah, there must be a little bit more space between prongs.* "Floss gets tangled and impossible to undo at end of forks" - LOL, use scissors if that's such a big problem ;D* " it's not able to keep the floss tight enough" - I don't have this problem :o Maybe using a floss with a wax makes it harder to fix it tightly? Anyway, threading a floss through the slot 2 times instead of 1 or winding it around the prong 1 more time should do the trick.PS. It's my first floss holder so I can not compare it to others. I chose this one because it looks better than some others, eg. from Introfloss. Simple as that ;)

I really wanted to be more eco conscious but this gadget has been a bit disappointing. I find it hard to wind the floss tightly enough to be efficient. Occasionally it goes right and then the gadget is very helpful but on the whole it has let me down.

Was trying to be eco-friendly to avoid disposable flossers. This doesn't work. Floss works itself loose and is very wasteful of floss as need long lengths to wrap around handle to try to secure it. It's a pain to set up and to undo floss. Device to huge compared to usual flossers so not comfortable to use. Complete waste of money.

Loading with floss is easy enough, even when I'm not wearing glasses. Uses much less floss than when flossing by hand (~5 times less). Considering plastic in floss dispensers this device probably reduces plastic usage overall. After 1 week's practice using this device is faster and more accurate than flossing by hand.

Too big to use comfortably in my mouth.

Makes it much easier to get between teeth, especially further back as don't have to cram fingers into mouth. Still struggling to motivate myself to floss though

... saves fortune and lots of plastic waste compared to buying disposable picks such as Glide. Takes a few goes to perfect the art of attaching the floss securely. But quick and easy once you've done it a few times.

I found this tricky to get to awkward spots. I’ve switched to plastic free floss picks instead.

This is an excellent product. HOWEVER, you do need to know how to use it properly:1. read the manual. the instructions on the manual is correct, especially the way how the floss should be put on. I found 3 rounds is min, better with 4 rounds on each leg. and make sure you squish the legs before you put on the floss to the other leg, this way the floss will be tight enough when done. you can adjust the tension of the floss by how much you squish.2. you do need to practice enough times to learn how to use it efficiently. comparing to hand floss, this product is a fixed and stiff floss fork. so when you try to slide the floss in between your teeth, like I have a tight teeth, you need to know the angle, and it's 3D, hence you need to adjust the angle both horizontally and vertically. and once you found the angle, you need to practice enough times to remember it. 32 teeth, 30 angles !! The molar teeth take the most efforts.It took me over a week, 3 times a day, to practice and learn to use it. Now I am pretty happy with it. Not only it save the floss, I use about 3 inch every time, but also save my fingers, as I got scars on my fingers by using the floss often enough.The only thing I'd complain about the product is that it can't keep the flat floss flat. What I mean is if you use Glide floss, it's a flat strip, so easy to slide between the tight the teeth. but if you try to put this type of floss on to the fork, the floss will be twisted, so make it like twisted rope once put on, and thus defeat the purpose of using a flat floss. Because of this, I have to switch to Sunstar GUM thin floss, and I found this floss works particularly well with this product. Maybe this is something could help those having tight teeth like me.Anyway, this is a good product. I'll recommend.

J'ai longuement hésité avec d'autre modèle disponible. Certain commentaire m'ont également mis le doute. J'ai tout de même tenté l'aventure avec ce produit. Après 2 semaines d'utilisation j'en suis parfaitement satisfait. Le produit répond a toutes mes attentes. Après il faut suivre attentivement les instructions fournies sur Amazon et dans le colis. Le positionnement du fil dentaire est très importante. Après le choix du fil dentaire joie un rôle important quoi qu'il arrive c'est un produit économique, écologique car économie de fil dentaire et autre substitue. Je recommande ce produit sans hésiter.

Ich verstehe einfach nicht, wieso man solche Produkte die eher für Feinarbeiten gedacht sind, so elendig groß machen muss. Was soll das eigentlich!? Ich möchte einfach nur einen Zahnseidehalter in der größe eines verdammt nochmal normalen Zahnseidesticks. Am liebsten einfach stumpf aus edelsathl und fertig. Keine peilung was daran so schwer sein soll. Da es auf dem kompletten Markt einfach absolut NICHTS anständiges gibt, dachte ich dieser hier erfüllt zumindest seinen Zweck. Aber das Teil ist größer als meine Hand und die Haltevorrichtung so breit wie zwei Daumen nebeneinander. Absoluter Müll. Würde ich keinen Empfehlen. Dann schände ich lieber weiter die Umwelt und benutze einmal sticks. Rund 10 Euro für so einen schwachsinn. Kann halt nicht jeder nen riesen Maul haben, davon mal ab das mein Mund nichtma Klein ist ;) Ich bin komplett entnervt und regerecht angefressen von diesem Produkt. Niemals wieder!

Product is not working at all for me. Maybe I am using the wrong kind of floss but it just keeps slipping and coming loose (I am following the instructions). It’s also absolutely massive and I cannot use it on my back teeth (which is why I bought it). It’s so big I can’t even use it on most of my front teeth properly. I will try a different kind of floss (I have the easy glide kind right now) and if that makes a difference and it works better I will update my review accordingly.

je n'arrivais pas à utiliser du fil dentaire et grâce à ce support, j'y arrive enfinNe pas hésiter à faire plus de 3 tours pour que ça tienne, au début je n'y arrivais pas, ça se dé lâchait, maintenant ça vaDe même ça m'a demandé un peu de pratique pour bien l'orienter, le miroir inversant les directions n'aidant pasça prend un peu de place dans la bouche, mais j'arrive à traiter toutes les dents.Forcément plus économique que les supports jetables équipés de fil.le choix des couleurs permet d'avoir chacun le sien, comme pour les brosses à dent.je recommande.
