Worked just fine
A little worried by some of the reviews but used this for exercises from Josie Lewis' book The New Color Mixing Companion (also highly recommended). If I was knit picky, I would say, the punch's box was a bit torn.

The measurement is wrong
The specs for this item say the hexagon measures 1" - one inch. IYes, it does but measuring from one corner ACROSS to the other. Normally they are measured from one corner TO the other.The item itself was good, but absolutely useless for me, hence the 3 stars. I am doing English Paper piecing and need the exagon to measure 1" from one corner TO the other, not ACROSS.

You have to oil it
I was so mad when it jammed after 5 minutes of punching out paper, but my lovely husband oiled it for me. Works fine now.
