No warm white option
The product arrived quickly and the clip on candles are an excellent and easy to use function. The remote is easy to use but with all the colour options, none produce a warm white. The yellow produces a green. Orange is your best bet but it shows up more red. The white option presents blue. I ended up having to buy other candles that string and plug in. Definitely not as easy as these battery candles, too bad the colour is so off. Maybe they’ll get some use next Halloween.

From Ho-Hum to WOW!
The media could not be loaded. How cute are these???? I’m so tickled with these little candles! I bought a pack to snazz up my tree this year and couldn’t be happier. I just love that there’s a flicker setting on the remote. I also appreciate that the clips rotate so you can point the candle upright even on a crooked branch. If I had any complaints at all it would be the I wish the “candles” had the “wax drippings” on them. But not a deal breaker for me.

One flaw
These would be perfect if it weren't for one somewhat major flaw.First off, the good:- These are voltage regulated!! Unlike nearly all other battery powered candles, these don't slooooowly get dim as the batteries die, instead they stay a constant brightness. When the battery finally gets weak enough that it can't deliver anymore, the candle goes dark and blinks once a second to let you know it's time to replace the battery. You no longer have to squint and go "is it getting dimmer?" or argue with yourself "it's definitely dimmer but is it worth replacing the battery now or should I wait?"- The silicone rings do make the candles waterproof. I was able to wash one in the sink while it was turned on and had no issues. They're great if you want to use them in the shower/bathtub.- The alligator clips fit snugly and work well. The candles are just squeeze-fit into the clips and can be attached or detached easily.- The remote is ok and simple to use. It takes a standard watch battery which slides out on a tray for easy replacement.- They have 5 brightness levels. When you put a battery in they default to medium+steady but you can change that with the remote. On medium+steady they last about 3-4 days of continuous use on Eneloop rechargeable AAAs, and on low they last like a week. And the bad:- They don't flicker! Although the option is there, what actually happens is that they have a very artificial fixed blink pattern that's only about 2-3 seconds long before it repeats. They all have the same pattern and all start at the same place in the pattern. If you want anything that even partially resembles random flickering, you have to take each candle into another room and turn the flicker option on one by one so that they're all offset. But even then, the pattern is still super obvious. It's a real shame that the "flicker" is so bad and such a critical feature for most people because these are otherwise pretty amazing devices.- The gizmo inside is an LED mounted to a circuit board the size of your pinky fingernail. The LED slides up through the wick/neck into the flame/bulb. There are only two plastic components: the entire flame/wick/top is one single molded piece of plastic that houses the LED and circuit board, and the shaft/base that holds the battery is the second piece. The wick/neck is both kinda wide (to let the LED through) and is black due to simply being painted over. The reason I'm mentioning this is that the paint is kinda thin on some of them and it's obvious it's just painted plastic... that combined with the rather chunky width of the wick makes them look slightly silly from some angles, especially up close. But really though this is a minor complaint. If you have no interest in a flickering effect, or you don't care that the effect is really artificial, these are a really good buy. If you DO care about the flicker then unfortunately you should probably look elsewhere.

Arrived broken and incomplete
Ordered 4 sets of 20. Received 2 sets of 20, one box with a set of ten and no remote and broken clips. Another set looked ok, until I counted the candles, it only had nine per bag, not ten, remote was missing, and only had sixteen clips in the box. Returning the incomplete sets. The candles that did arrive in perfect condition work beautifully. I hope they last.

Randomly turn on
I really wanted to like these candles as they look nice on the tree. They are also lighter than other styles, which makes them easy to clip on and the pivoting base is perfect to make sure the candles stay upright. The reason I can’t give them five stars is that they randomly turn on by themselves and use up battery life quickly.
