Ironfix wall mounting ironing board

I was reluctant to give up my ironing board but an injury to my arm meant I struggled to open and close it. The search for something practical to replace it eventually led me to this little beauty and it is perfect. It's small and I have superking bedding but with my steam generator iron, this is no problem. I simply fold the bedding to fit on the board and let the steam do the work. This board has the all important mesh grill to accommodate the amount of steam a generator produces and the tilt mechanism is sturdy but easy to operate. It's a little pricey but worth every penny.

An excellent product, although not much smaller than a full size board, replaces a full size one and is more convenient.It folds neatly away on the wall and is easy to open.It is fixed to the wall with 12 screw fixings so is very secure. I found it easier to remove the base plate (2 bolts) and fix this first without the weight of the board to worry about. Only suitable for a solid wall or direct to the wooden studs in a stud wall.

Very good, easy to fit. Solid feel. Fitted into a cupboard so used nuts and bolts rather than the screws provided which were too long for the cupboard sides.

Excellent spacesaver. Better than a full size ironing board for shirts.Would have hoped for bottom fixings to have been included given the price. Works well so far, after a couple of weeks use and is very secure & feels well engineered.

Thius Item is a good addition to the variety of options for home usebut has been priced to up un-necessarily hence will not attract many customers.

This ironing board is wonderful. Neat, well designed, a good size, solid, well constructed and practical. I am delighted with it. Took my husband 20 mins to fix it to the wall and he didn't find it a problem to do.Noticed on the instruction leaflet a picture of a plastic protective cover for keeping the dust off etc. But this was not provided and cost another £40 odd to purchase separately. That was the only negative comment I needed to make.

Faulty. Not fit for purpose. Not off Hafele standards.
