I bought this brush a few months ago and it is really great. Does exactly what you would expect - gets absolutely loads of hair out. My corgi cross is not keen on being groomed but she really loves me using this brush and I love it too - the more hair I brush out the less there is for me to vacuum up.

I bought this originally for our English Cocker Spaniels who whilst they have beautiful coats, one (Flossie, 13yrs old) does moult a fair bit. Whilst I used it on her it was BRILLIANT for getting out any dead coat, fuzz or anything like that. You do need to be very careful with this though as it can end up pulling the coat a bit especially if there are lugs. If that is the case, it's better to go through the lugs with a different comb or cut them out. Whilst you might think that defeats the object of this comb or doesn't. This will clearly get out a lot of the fur and fuzz that a standard brush simply wouldn't touch. It works beautifully on Flossie but hardly at all on Dinky (10yrs). When I use it on Flossie, it gets out a lot of dead fuzz meaning there's less to vacuum up. If I do a good brush on her with it that usually lasts a week at least.It has ended up working best on our cat - a long haired Moggie who is a very pretty puss but is constantly moulting. Her coat is fairly dense so I have to check for any lugs first and then I go through it with this. I can use this on her daily or every other day but since using it on her the first time her coat feels a bit thinner and lighter.This is now an absolute key piece of grooming kit for our household. My only criticism/ observation is that you do end up with residue on the brush "teeth" which I'm guessing are the oils and dirt from their coat and skin. Cleaning this off is not easy because of the shape of it so really need to think about that. Should have been considered in the design.Other than that, all in all, for the price it's a brilliant piece of kit! Highly recommended.

Our cat has very long and thick hair and hates being brushed! Bought this brush and he sat much more content than with others and it done this in one sitting! Very happy with purchase would highly recommend.

I call it the magic brush. My little kitty (she's 3,5 but a very small girl) hates brushing. Over the last 3 years I've tried all kinds and she had to be forced to be brushed. Her long hair needs that, otherwise knots appear. But each time i tried to brush her, she'd run, she'd scream murder and at the end i had to pin her down (gently of course) to brush the knots out. Usually it would be few seconds before she run, then she'd stay kidden till the "trauma" passed. This brush... omg, this is pure magic. Not only it brushes her undercoat so well, knots are gone, but she truly loves it! First time in her little life she loves being brushed! She stretches her paws to brush between them, exposes her tummy (that's where her hair is the longest), and the purring?! This little moggy has never enjoyed grooming, now she's like a different cat. And her hair looks fabulous too!Also, usually this kind of brush comes in sizes that are too big for my little cat, this smaller one is perfect for her. Not too small, so grooming doesn't take hours, but not too big to cause her discomfort. I am so chuffed with this brush!! And so is my kitty.

Comfortable brush, better than previous brushes I've bought but still a real chore actually gathering hair, it's clear that it doesn't gather the hairs properly, so I'm sure there's probably a better brush out there, but so far this is definitely a lot better than other terrible brushes. Works, just not ideal for tabbys/mid hair cats.

Love this comb. Bit of a shock at first with the sheer amount of fur coming from my beautiful Persians, but it does what it says. Still a bit of a battle with the puddies to comb them but gently,gently. They'd happily sit all day long with a soft comb/brush but those doesn't touch the surface. Now feel like I'm getting their fur under control. Well worth £10. It's solid and looks durable (bearing in mind I've only had it a week!).

Good quality and removes hair without causing any distress to my Golden Retriever
