Works good for mixing, storage good.

I like this tray because it is big. I can load all my color palette for a project and when it's time to take a break or let my painting dry I can just close it up and ask my colors are ready when I am ready to resume. It's very sturdy, not flimsy at all. It washes off easily for the next project.

Was a little concerned that the plastic might be very thin or flexible given the price, but I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this item is. Positives: Sturdy plastic, a good size for mixing watercolors, the latch is molded into the plastic so it seems to close well so it doesn't fall open, and it has places to hold smaller brushes so they don't roll away when not in use. Two negatives: Only two of the 24 paint wells overlap two other wells (leaving 20 usable non-overlapping wells) when it is closed, so contamination of colors may be minimal. The palette over-extends slightly when fully opened, so paint might spill from the palette if they are wet or loose watercolor. I will use this palette in my home on a table and not in my hand, so this doesn't present a problem for me.

The media could not be loaded. This is a huge mixing pallet. Great value for the money. It’s great for mixing lots of color for big washes and big projects or tube paints in general work. Great in this!I love that it’s easy to hold and also holds paint brushes

Good size, lots of wells for your water and paints. Easy clean up for watercolor.

This palette is great for keeping my watercolors organized. I buy my paint in tubes and squeeze into the wells, separating the warm and cool colors. The larger areas are plenty large for blending. I have purchased these for gifts.

The media could not be loaded. This is an easy to use pallet. It has a thumb hole for holding but can be used laying flat on the table also. The surface makes the water bead up which makes it hard to mix paint. It doesn't smear around like the way they do on videos online. I do not like the beads of water. I wish it would have less surface tension so it would lay flat not in a big ball. That is why I took two stars off. The picture and video above show how the paint just sits in balls no mater how much I mix.
