Is this good for an 8 year old

Yes it would be. It’s been a bit too tricky for my 5/6 yo, he found it tough to get the pegs lined up and into the holes (not enough hands!) They also do one with real nails which he got on better with.

Well ive got it for my 8 year old boy but if supervised maybe from age 6/7 depending on the child.

Can you rebuild with the pieces or once you have made a model is that it?

You can dismantle the models and use the bits again

Not for girls then, is it?
