I'm 28 and I'm happy with this junior toothbrush.
I had heard that this toothbrush was extremely similar to the expensive oral b toothbrushes but for a much more affordable price and I agree. In terms of how clean my teeth feel, it matches up to my previous oral b toothbrush for adults. The timer that tells you to move on to the next quadrant feels a little rushed to me but maybe that's because I have a bigger mouth than a child. Instead I clean the outside, inside and on top of all of my lower teeth first and once two timers have passed, then I move on to the top row and that works well for me. The battery life is a little bit poor. It takes 22 hours to charge which feels like forever and a chore when it comes round to needing to recharge it but I've gotten used to it. I had seen some reviews that removing the head revealed rust so I have been wiping away any water every time I've finished and there has been no rust yet. The head it comes with is the sensitive clean head and I really like it as it has soft bristles so it's gentle on my gums but still effectively cleans. Any oral b brush head is compatible but I suspect non branded brush heads would be too. It's not really important but I also love that it's a nice colour (purple).

East to use effective children's electric toothbriush
My daughter (9) gets on very well with this brush and has more effective cleaning than with her manual brush. I certainly find it easy to use on her teeth (I am a dentist) and trust Oral B products for most oral hygiene measures. The motif is attractive to children and the handle is easy to hold. The brush head is soft enough and the vibration not troubling. The brush is easy to handle and switch on and off. It needs more regular charging than my electric toothbrush, but once a fortnight is sufficient. You need a two pin adaptor plug to plug it into the wall.

Good quality but….
Good quality toothbrush that has really encouraged my daughter to clean her teeth for longer. But there are some things that I think could be improved for a start it takes AGES to fully charge the brush (at least 24hrs). I think other reviews which have said the battery runs out too quickly is probably down to them not charging it for long enough (you have to wait until the green light stops flashing). The charge on ours lasts about a week and a half. It’s just annoying that when it needs charging again it takes so long! Also think for the price it should come with two brush heads so you have a spare. It only comes with one brush head.Other than that the brush is doing a good job and I particularly like that it vibrates every 30 seconds to prompt my daughter to change to the next part of her mouth, ensuring she’s brushed all teeth well. It then also vibrates when the 2 mins is up, so I know she’s brushing for the recommended time.

Perfect for brushing teeth
Even is you choose not to buy one of these, I can recommend the accompanying video on how to brush teeth.Toothbrush is a nice colour, different to adult designs. It looks like it will be useful into teenage years and beyond as the head is a regular round size. The charging light is helpful to confirm the brush is charging, and to show if it is out of charge too.

Upgrade for my 6yo son
So my son has the toddler version 3+ ... which is obv 'slow' ... this one is slightly heavier BUT not by much. And the 'spin' is faster...altho, NOT as fast as an normal adult one.So its perfect for my boy, gives him an upgrade step to make sure he can control the toothbrush correctly.Comes with 1 brush head, and 1 colour ring clip... plus charger dock too.Battery life seems to be really good.

Great step up from Oral B Power Stages
We've used a Power Stages Oral B brush for the past 2 or 3 years and it got to the point where it needed charging every 2 or 3 days. Time for new one! This was the next step up after Power Stages. It has the 30 second timer which is helpful to make sure each part of the mouth is brushed. As it's new the charge holds really well. The tooth brush heads are a little bigger than the Power Stages brush heads but they will fit on this new brush if I find that the new head is too large for my childs mouth. All in all, this is the quality you'd expect from Oral B.

Brilliant for my daughter - and the included 2 pin plug is there for reason!!
Many reviewers give bad feedback and complain about the 2 pin plug - but that is because UK building regulations! Bathrooms and toilets are not allowed to have a normal 3 pin sockets due to electrical safety. Also, the provided plug is NOT a regular EU plug. Its special size to use only on shaver points (sockets allowed in bathrooms). If you don't have one, you can always buy an adaptor. But I don't think its fair to give so much negative to Braun about something they have to do by law really. The toothbrush is really good, and bit envious as this junior model looks better and cooler than my old 'adult' one! The first charge, be prepared it will take several hours to fully charge, but will be worth it in the long run. After some time I will update this review how things are going. Hope it was useful to you! :)
