Update 2/2022:Absolutely intolerable. I think they must have changed the recipe, because I literally can't choke this stuff down anymore. Even keeping the closed container in the cupboard makes me gag every time I open it to get something from the very potent smell. The new smell/taste is very fishy and is slightly reminiscient of eating a packet of unflavored gelatin. I don't know what happened but it's horrible now in both pineapple and orange juices. I'm so sad because I've been using it for years and now have to try to find a replacement. On top of that, the price is much higher now. My mom and husband won't drink it anymore either. In fact my mom thought I was trying to trick her into taking something new and told me to throw it in the trash.Original review:Can't tell you how much I love my Vitaspectrum. I have a tough time taking any types of vitamins due to an MTHFR gene mutation. I can really only take methylated forms of anything and I usually still have some issues. This stuff has been AMAZING. I've been using it for about a year now. I take half a scoop each day for 3 days before traveling in pineapple juice, and I haven't gotten sick as a result of planes, airports, etc. I have a terrible immune system so this is a miracle for me! I brought some with me to Japan on our honeymoon and had some every morning with breakfast in juice and didn't get sick once on the trip. I also take it if I am feeling run down, or get a sore throat, or generally feel unwell. I usually get strep throat a couple of times a year, and since starting this I haven't gotten it once (knock on wood). I also avoided a number of other illnesses my family caught, including the flu my husband had.I love it so much now my husband has started taking it, and I bought some for my mom, who loves it too. She is on oxygen with severe COPD and other lung diseases, and has terrible immune system issues. Any illness almost immediately becomes pnemonia and can put her in the hospital within a couple of days. She actually avoids going outside of the house because she is afraid of getting sick. This has helped her so much that she can now go to stores if the weather is nice and not worry quite as much.The only downsides - it tastes TERRIBLE in water or in food. Pineapple juice masks it perfectly for me though. Orange juice works too in a pinch, but is more acidic. Also, it can turn your urine green if you take more than your body needs.

no doubt this is a great vitamin supplement, but the irony is kids with autism tend to have very discerning taste. I’m not sure what I’m gonna be able to mix this with to get her to drink it. I put it in her cherry Gatorade, frost and diluted it as much as I could, but it still has a strong vitamin flavor, and she will not drink it, and unfortunately, it cannot be returned. It’s also very hard to mix. I had to put it in a blender bottle and shake it for a long time to get the clumps out. I knew it was a gamble and I lost.

This is a very potent vitamin. Not the best flavor because it has to be eaten not swallowed. We mix it with jam. Great for my 7 year old who hasn't eaten right in years and has abdominal pain and lack of nutrition absorption. It really helps to maintain her stamina and along with aloe juice has made a huge difference in her quality of life. We will buy this again and again and again! So glad we found this product.Update: My daughter is now almost 9 and we are still taking this. She still isn't wild about the flavor but I recently made and elderberry/blackberry jam that we have been mixing it with and she says that all she can taste is the elderberry. It is her body and we allow her to make a lot of the decisions about what she takes. There are times that she opts out of some of her other treatment but ALWAYS takes this vitamin as she knows how quickly she goes down hill without it. GREAT product!!!! It has literally saved my daughters life! THANK YOU!

This product is incredible... if you can trick your kids into choking it down. We homeschool our 3 boys and we all took this supplement for one week and noticed results. I kid you not the colors outside seem brighter while on this stuff. My kids have been able to focus more and have been playing together better. They just seem to be able to think a little clearer before exploding over tiny things like knocked over lego creations. I shoud also note that my kids are not on the spectrum. They are just very high energy boys that are around each other 24/7. Tempers can flare easy and this stuff seems to help them respond as opposed to react.With all of that said this stuff is horrific. I'm a powerlifter and have had my share of nasty powders to choke down. This stuff takes the cake (if cake meant puke). I've tried mixing it in juices, smoothies, etc. My oldest (10 year old) literally cries for 5 min every morning before finally choking it down. The smell alone makes me gag. My wife was trying to show the kids taking this vitamin wasn't a big deal and asked me to pour her a glass of juice with this vitamin powder added in. She gracefully got 1 sip in before spitting it out in the sink and saying "babe the kids are right. Thats disgusting". Not her best moment... After pleading with her to try it again, she did and has since seen the benefits and now takes it each morning as well.So if you are willing to make your kids cry in order to get them to take an amazing multi vitami that WILL absolutely boost their mental capicity then this bad boy is for you! If you want something very basic that your kiddos think taste like candy then venture over to some gummy bear vitamins.
