Pretty Cool
The UV filter does work great to show how much sunscreen protection is on and if it is spread evenly or if you missed any spots. The white light works great and it is very compact in size, so it fits perfect in a crossover pocket book. The price is definitely a little high. I live in NY so I don't always need SPF on especially in the winter, but if you live somewhere where the sun shine gives a UV every day then this product would be worth the price more.

This CAN connect to a computer.
A computer will recognize this as a camera if and only if you open the flap to the halfway point.

Stopped working after first charge
The UV camera worked well, until my first time charging it, after which it won’t turn on anymore. This is so disappointing.

It works!
It is impressive to compare spot with and without SPF lotion.

great idea – works, but low resolution
The idea is a really great one, to be able to indicate where you are missing SPF protection before you go out into the sun.The compact itself comes with 2 mirrors – normal and 2x. The regular mirror is where the LCD screen is, so the reflective quality isn't quite 100%. This mirror also comes with a ring light around it with 3 different light intensities.Either light will turn off automatically if you shut the lid.Oddly, there are two different switches to control the regular and UV light – one on the back of the mirror and a touch button on the front of the mirror. They both work the same, so it doesn't matter which one you use.Overall it works, but not amazingly well.First the resolution of the screen is really low and not anywhere close to any of the marketing photos.Secondly, the image is dark and lacks contrast. You also have to find a balance between the distance of the mirror from your face – if the mirror is too close, then the UV light creates a harsh reflection off of your skin making things look white (ie, no SPF). But if you hold too far away, then the image is even more dark and grainy.Similarly, usually the part of your face you're interested in is pointing towards the mirror, so that means the highlight from the UV light is going to always be right in the center.Even though this isn't perfect by any means, I think this is a great idea. However, I would consider this level of performance to be suitable for early adopters. Also keep in mind that in order for this to work the mirror has a UV light on it. Though it's likely low intensity, just keep your skin and eyes in mind when using it.In short, despite the obvious faults of this device, it's a great idea and would be beneficial to those really concerned about ensuring their SPF is applied correctly for outdoor exposure.I hope that you found this review Helpful !(Click on my name to find out more about my star ratings)

Do I Need More Sunscreen Mirror
This compact mirror is your new BFF. This works, and benefits Every skin hue. Living in South Florida I do use sunscreen on a daily basis, mainly on my face, neck and hands. I must admit, I'm not as diligent when it comes to re-applying and this mirror called me out. It took some getting use to checking periodically, but boy oh boy did the truth come out. It truly shows a full face of sunscreen as well as when it's beginning to fade/needs to be re-applied. The regular mirror is bomb also with the dimming light, just fantabulous. Because of this mirror I have become more aware of what I'm putting on my face and how frequently. Love it!!

Not worth it, it's a compact mirror that's it!
The price is too high for a tiny compact mirror that doesn't even work for what its claim to do. I tried using the mirror and don't see any black, white or gray areas. I only see my normal skin. For the price you are paying, you must be expecting a handy manual but the one they provide is in thin paper with low font which you can barely read. I will use the mirror to apply makeup. I've tried several sunscreens and changed the lights on the front. Please note I live in a basement with no windows, so you can't say I was near sunlight thats why it doesn't work. Thats not the case.
