How do you disassemble ?

Step 1: remove switch module on back. Step 2: find the top, on back look for small 1, that is the top. Step 3: from the front insert small driver into hole on top, lift handle of driver. This will disengage the back plate from button mechanism, at least on the top, manually pull bottom out. Back plate is not disconnected. Remove retaining nut, and insert threads into the front of your material. Reapply nut, backplate (bottom first), then module.

I need a dpst n.o. push button switch. can i remove the contact body from one switch and double it up on another?

Yes contact blocks snap on and can be piggybacked.

Is it rated for outdoors ?

In or outdoors just don't get it wet.

Maybe the least attractive component on my electric brewery control panel, but it gets the job done. It's a little tricky to disassemble to install, and I'm glad I had 5 as I think I broke two before I figured it out.
