It does the job and does it well. Order it in the length you need though. I wish i had done so because i underestimated the length i actually needed and had to adapt my original idea. Great price too

Initially bought the 4ft version, not realizing that there were longer options, but it and the longer replacement I bought both work perfectly fine, so I really can't complain!Used to connect my laptop to my Roku TV -- setup was incredibly simple, and the only thing I really had to do was make sure Windows knew it could still be widescreen when connected to the TV. :P The picture quality was a tiiiny bit blurry, but it's very slight, and pretty unnoticeable unless you're sitting a foot away from the screen.

I had originally bought a vga/hdmi cord. It didn't work. So I did research and found I needed a converter not a cord. So I bought this, simple to install, tool less than 10 minutes even with me having to move around my equipment. And it works brilliantly.

I am using this with a VGA splitter and a dual HDMI monitor. This lets me share a window between two computers.The picture on the HDMI monitor is noticeably dimmer and less crisp than that on the VGA monitor, but I'm not sure if that's due to signal attenuation caused by the splitter. Other than that, it works fine: maybe I was expecting too much.

I had VGA display on my 2nd monitor for work, and I decided to try this as my 2nd display was blurry compared to my HDMI display 1, tried fixing all settings accordingly. In and out of Microsoft, manual setting on the monitor as well.Ordered this because I thought it would work, it picked up the HDMI input however it was still just as blurry , if not worse! Did not auto adjust at all. Do not buy this. It doesn’t work.
