My 9 year old just took the multiplication one home with him as they have groups in class that compete to move up after they become proficient at different problems. His inner desire to succeed and surpass is driving him. And this makes it so easy for him to practice when mom and dad are too busy to quiz him.

Reminds us of what we had when we were little. I have grandchildren whose ages range from 1-1/2 to 8, so I purchased the complete set, knowing that one age group would be using any of the four choices at any time. I just lend them where needed, or will keep at my house when the grandchildren come, making it a game. Very well packaged. Durable.

The packaging that it is shipped in is perfect to use as its own book shelf for storing. These are making maths drills easier for sure for my kids 👍🏻

I'm working with my grandmonster to help him get his basic math facts faster. I want to get to a time when he can do a lot in under a minute addition and subtraction mixed up. Kids like him don't always easily see that math is nothing but patterns. When you learn those patterns you unlock the mystery to working with numbers. When you get the basics easily then you can tackle the challenging stuff. I was a kid who didn't understand the power of number patterning, either. Once I understood it, I really enjoyed it, but I was a college student by then! If I had figured it out early I would not have struggled in school and would have probably loved math. This little "machine" that is hands on and pops up shows basic patterns and is self checking. I have a subtraction, multiplication, and division one for him, also. Different things work for different kids. It isn't always a fancy computer game and not all kids want to sit and write out facts all summer. So far this is a hit!
