My daughter loves it
This was purchased for my daughter after our full size press was tragically broken in a freak accident. She enjoys coffee and/ or hot tea almost daily. With the travel press, she can start the steeping process when she first wakes up and press the coffee as she runs out the door for the school bus. She has told me that it keeps the coffee hot through first period and warm most of the day. She has been able to expand her hot tea habit to include loose leaf teas, which has been very beneficial to her sleep. Her favorite feature of the press is the ease of cleaning. Even when she adds cream, sugar, or even honey to her beverages, there is never any trouble getting the filters clean. Hopefully when it gets warmer outside, I will be able to update my review to include water infusions.

It leaks!
I bought this product since the reviews were good and company seemed to advertise it nicely for travel. Of the bat it’s a nice mug easy to hold and grab with it’s external grip. Easy to use and clean.Issue: I don’t know if mine was defective or not but I can not travel with mine because water/liquid spills all over the cap. I can see this mug being good if all you do is use it at the desk. If you hit bumps on road then expect it to leak.

The gasket on the plunger popped off
I really wanted to like this press for an international trip. Two problems: the plastic gasket around the plunger popped off before I had even used it once! And it was not easy to get it reseated. Also, I really can't see adding milk before my coffee is actually ready. I didn't think about that before I bought it.I ended up getting a small press pot (the Mira all stainless steel) and a new travel mug. It is a small amount of extra weight to carry, but the plunger is not going to come apart because there isn't a separate gasket. It is integrated with the mesh.
