Are the sizes correct for a medium hand?

I would say no but then I have big hands so i guess it depends on if you think you have big or small hands, i got the large and they fit like a glove. Pun intended :)

If these gloves are for men and women then what is the best size for a woman with medium hands to buy?

I bought them for my Grandson, his hands are the same size as my daughters, I got him medium and her hands are medium and they fit but everybody is different so I can't say for definite they would fit for you.
