**The photos show my show jumper looking like a cob after being off for some months, and then the third photo shows the area clipped…the top half and front half and cheeks and jowls were clipped using these clippers**This arrived earlier than expected yesterday, which was great, because we were body clipping yesterday. A bit about the horse and why I love this product: due to how she was backed, noises and things around her ears (bridling, halter/head collaring, touching is all fine, it’s noises and items and aggressive handling) means we have to tranq her to do her head, and always her legs as that horse finds clippers so ticklish, she stomps and lifts her feet and it’s a bit of a hassle! (Ironically, she falls asleep and/or starts grooming the air when we hit an itchy spot when being body clipped with my insanely loud, but insanely good body clippers!).So these arrived at lunch after being ordered the evening before, and as we were running late, I told my husband we could finish the initial charging session with these clippers at the yard. He told me, “no need! They finished charging 10 minutes ago, and are packed in the car with our clipping kit!” They were dead when they arrived, and in about an hour, give or take, they were fully charged.The blades were beautifully balanced and sharpened and the clippers could glide through her hair. She is in her teenage years and has been diagnosed with Cushings, and because of another issue, she had been a bit laid up since November, so this is the first winter out of 12 with her that we didn’t clip her, and she was like a bear.When clipping her without tranq? I always try and sneak up her neck a bit more each time, and I come well-stocked with treats and pets. The most I’ve ever been able to do, is the underside of her neck up to her jowls (we’ve just mastered letting me use scissors on her bridle path!! She’s the best horse ever, but she was traumatised before me and is genuinely afraid).Anyway, the clippers were the quietest clippers to use; I managed to clip the top part of her neck and under her mane, all the way to her head, and she let me clip her cheeks and underneath! She has never gone that far without tranq, so because of these clippers, I’m going to work with her more regularly so I can clip even more!! 😍My husband decided to try them, as he had clipped like 80-90% of the area we *CAN* do with our body clippers, and they were hot and needed a break. These new clippers barely got warm, and by the end of the session, I still had almost a completely charged battery, and that’s with a couple of hours of clipping! We used blade spray, but my husband who is learning to clip, absolutely loves these, even though I had to convince him that they were necessary in order to buy them!The other thing I love is how soft they are in my hand, and how I didn’t get “buzzing hands” the way I usually do with other clippers, where if you stop clipping, your hands buzz for sometime 😂Basically, I’m a fan. They were purchased to somewhat replace our older Liveryman Cordless trimmers, and my husband said the difference was both palpable and visual!My only gripe, was that it didn’t come with a carrying case. Not the end of the world, and I can load it into my kit box easily, but if you are expecting a case? There isn’t one!

These trimmers are brilliant. I have clipped out my pony’s neck, chest, fetlocks and belly on one charge. Still plenty of charge left. Really happy with these and very reasonable price.

As described, good size, packaged well. Used to clip my horses chest and feathers - no concerns and managed this well. Weight and battery life all good

Fantastic product. Very lightweight with a great battery life. Easy to keep clean and tidy. Fit really nicely in the hand and is super easy to manoeuvre. The best past is how quiet they are, just a very low buzz, ideal for doing face and head. They don’t catch in long hair either so are ideal for legs

Brilliant Trimmer for my horses but also Brilliant for shaving my head with too!Recommended.

I bought this for my poodle it was fine if you used it with out the gard ,but with the gard it would not touch her hair ,

I got this for my horse who was really scared of clippers. This got him over the noise factor as it’s nice and quiet and even managed to make a decent job of his somewhat hairy legs. I am very impressed and should have bought this first before buying heavy duty clippers. I would definitely recommend these for nervous horses and also capable of more than just trimming.
