This has freed up so much space with extension cords and chargers. The usb ports at the base are great and well placed. Surge control and never overheats. Safe yet stylish option.

Its a nice extension tower, I bought it for WFH. For the amount of sockets and connections on it, it is surprisingly compact and sits nicely on top of my cabinet. The power button at the top makes it easy to switch on and off without having to plug everything out, or turn off individual plugs and the addition of the USB slots is great for charging my phone. However, there is a faint beeping/pulsing sound from it that can be extremely irritating after a while, hence the 4 stars. I can see no reason other than power flux causing this, and there are no other issues with it, but disappointed that this noise is there, as once I hear it when working, I cannot stop hearing it.

This 12 way tower extension lead is well laid out, with 4 sides each with 3 UK sockets in the same orientation on each face, so most plugs do not clash. The USB charging saves the need for at least one dedicated charging socket. The blue light in the power switch enables a quick check of its state, or in my case, its position in the dark corner where mine is used. It can take the full 13A offered by typical UK sockets.
