I don’t do a lot of reviews, but this pop up tent was perfect for our trip to secluded beaches in Puerto Rico. Cost is absolutely incomparable to the competition. I was not willing to drop $200 like others, but this price point was enough to risk and I’m glad we took a chance. Size is perfect and it was able to fit in my carryon (we moved included spikes into checked bag for safety). Setup was super easy, especially after doing it the first time. By the end of the trip we could put it up and take it down in minutes. Material is stretchy and works really well, even in high winds. San bags are sturdy and it comes with a beach scoop/shovel to fill them.This is an unpaid, uncompensated review. Seriously made our vacation 10x better, allowing us to explore some remote locations.

The size is excellent - any smaller would've been significantly less useful. It does a great job blocking the sun, and the stability from the six bags was impressive. We had a pretty windy day on the beach and it took it like a champ. Never doubted it was going to hold up. Have to knock it down a star because one of the sandbag clasps (mounted at the end of a strap) broke off after the first use. It just sheared right off... Don't know when, don't know how - only figured it out when we went to set up the next day. It didn't fail during use. Fortunately, the extra carabiner in the bag was able to substitute. I'll likely swing by the hardware store and pick up a few extra small carabiners just in case it happens again. So A+ for meeting/exceeding all practical expectations - but C- for durability. Just know that it might require some extra parts to last more than a season or two.

Fantastic addition to our beach fun! I purchased this while on vacation at Kiawah Island and shipped it to the local Whole Foods. SUPER EASY! After shopping for a Shibumi shade at a sporting goods store ($250+), I decided to take a chance on this EasierHike product. I bought it on Amazon sale for less than an umbrella rental. My wife and I loved this product. It can packaged in a carry bag with easy to follow instructions. We set up the tent in less than 15 minutes. It easily endured the beach wind steady at 10-12 mph (one day produced 20 mph gusts). This EasierHike was solid as a rock. It provides ample shade and lowers the temp by approximate 10 degrees. We hade several people on the beach approach to ask where we got our tent shade (it is so much quieter than their Shibumi shade which flaps in the wind). It held up well after a full week of use. We have friends coming to the beach with their extended family. They have little ones that I can see hanging out under this tent shade. It cools the beach sand making it perfect for the kiddos. I will update after their feedback. As some have mentioned, the hardware may need to be replaced at some point with higher strength carabiner clips.

We got to the beach, took the canopy out for the first time… started filling the sand bags and four, FOUR, of the bags completely ripped down the entire seam. The canopy itself is great quality, why make the bags so poorly??

Just came back from a week long beach trip and was really looking forward to using this. I saw a couple of the 4 pole models on the beach and they looked fantastic and appeared to be working great. But this two-pole model is kind of useless. It sits way too low for any more than two people to sit under it, and the ocean breezes cause the top to whack you in the head if you sit in anything taller than a low beach chair. It did not work for our family's needs. On the plus side, the color and fabric is gorgeous. The set up was easy but in 100 degree real-feel southern heat, it was hard work filling sand bags. I recommend pre-filled them with something else before hand unless you enjoy ditch digging in blistering heat.
