Dremel 530-02 Stainless Steel Brushes (2 Pack), 3/4" Diameter

I use these a lot to remove rust from screw threads and corners in my DIY work restoring sewing machines, appliances, furniture, and jewelry. I usually buy at Harbor Freight or Amazon, a pack of them. These are all made in PRC (Ch*na) as we know. Cheap but get destroyed in one use. For larger projects, I use an angle grinder but this works on tiny things well. It also polishes metal jewelry small parts.I find these Dremel ones are built stronger and are more robust. You can see more metal threads on it and it polishes faster and more aggressively not weak. Love that! Worth the cost.

As you shop, you’ll see different types of metals and other materials in this format of T-shaped rotary polishing wheel. Carbon steel is more flexible and is best for softer metal polishing, but it can contaminate metals such as copper, silver and other non-ferrous metals over time with rust flakes. Stainless steel is non-contaminating, but is more brittle and can break little pieces off itself if used with speed settings that are too high. In any case, these are very well-made wheels, and I have not had any issues with bits of metal flinging off the wheel. With the correct speed setting for the type of wheel and the material being polished, I believe these are just fine when used properly. I’m a repeat customer, and I trust the Dremel brand.

Seriously, wear good eye protection!These OEM rotary wire brushes from Dremel are much better than the discount versions. This means the wires are harder and last longer, and are less likely to fly out during use. "Less likely" doesn't mean the wires won't fly out. It means fewer will fly out and not quite as quickly. The wires will, 100%, fly out sooner or later--sooner if the RPMs your tool are too high. (I keep it at half or less of full RPM. Full RPM is dangerous.) The wires after use can be extremely sharp. I have had them embed in my skin.If you need a very small wire brush, it's worth spending more for the OEM versions--and use eye protection.

Exactly as advertised and does what it is suppose to do.*People crying about the brushes coming apart. Yeah they all do that. Even high end industrial ones. Wear your safety gear, like you are suppose too.
