I never thought much about buckets for playing in the sand. My kids have had different types of cheap ones and even more expensive sets, but this one is perfect. It’s smaller than average, but that’s perfect for a young child filling it up with water and carrying it up the beach!Way thicker plastic than typical of these, too. Worth the price!

This is definitely a sturdy, well made bucket. I took off a star because it is smaller than described and overpriced at $10. Especially considering that it doesn't come with a shovel. The actual measurements are: 4 1/2 inches tall, 6 inches across the top, and 4 1/2 inches across the bottom. The listing described it as 6 inches tall.

Wonderful pail

My 1 year old grandson loves this bucket. He can hold it by the handle and lift it even with toys in it. It's large enough to hold 4 of his 3x3 in blocks or 6 of his small animals. He loves to dump things out of it and is learning to put things in it. We got it to teach him to put toys in it and then take them out. Good hand eye co-ordination teaching. It seems very sturdy and worth the money I paid for it. It should last him for years for many different types of play.
