You can DO the work and must
Critically important and timely when published I forgot to post this. As I read the book and am always doing my work I shared her book with so many people in my life.I shared her Instagram page and loved watching her just take off like the day. She saw her book in Times Square on the enormous billboard in shock that her message was resounding. I had been following her social media for a long time.As she continues to educate us by ‘reel examples’ on how to have functional GROWN UP relationships while we are growing up again due to healing from trauma. We are will always be growing and learning how to love ourselves and the people in our lives better as relevant our generation’s ever expanding understanding of their ACE’s as the study continues..For me she is this decades Melodie Beattie as I enter a new phase of healing as I enter close to my 3rd decade of sobriety I am still uncovering and recovering my authentic self.

So many AHA moments
This book really made me realize I don’t have to continue the cycles my family has lived for so many generations. I want to share this book with everyone on their personal growth journey.

Great Book
Great book. Considering reading this if you are going through a hard time with a partner and need some advice. This was a great way for me and my partner to get outside of our box and reexplore our relationship for the better!

Great book to really take a look into your feelings or anxiety
This is a great book. I read the whole thing in under a week. Some of the stories were so similar to mine. I had been struggling in an extremely loving, healthy relationship for the first time, with anxiety, obsessive thoughts about the future, and realized it was my past trauma subconsciously sneaking in ..what a realization and also sigh of relief that I wasn't crazy. Great read

Amazing book about working on yourself and healing from childhood trauma. Reviews different archetypes of common dynamics in parent-child relationships. Goes over coping mechanisms. Cannot recommend enough!
