I took a chance on this item and I am glad I did. I was tired of using the round files that take forever to sharpen my blades and needed something that would work without taking up a lot of time. I sharpened the dull blade on my saw and could immediately feel the difference in how it felt verses the round file sharpening. I was able to keep a good angle on the blade and the teeth sure felt sharp. The litmus test was working on my lot cutting down dead black spruce trees (which dull your chain with just a few trees). I went through dropping, limbing and cutting stove lengths no problem with the old blade that I sharpened. When the chain felt like it was cutting slow, I just quickly re sharpened it and went back to work. No problem, no wasted time, nice and sharp.Pros: Worked as stated, adjustable motor speed, sturdy storage box for the tool. Came with a few bits and wrenches.Cons: Sharpening bits will last for two sharpening cycles then are junk. Good thing they are cheap and disposable.Recommendations: As the tool comes with three different sizes of bits, figure out which one fits your saw blade the best then order a bunch more to have on hand.I was so pleased at how well the sharpening process was, how well it worked in the field and how much better it made my afternoon that I bought another kit for a gift to give away.

Used ONLY 2-times, then it would not turn on. I backed the brushes out to check for any issue and found none. Still would not start again, completely dead, no humming or any sign of life. Was easy to use and I liked it, but it just plain died, or so I believed. Decided to plug it in one more time before junking it, and to my amazement it started working. Perfectly again. It seems there must be a thermal protection switch inside, and it has a LONG COOL OFF TIME before it will turn on.From now on I will let the motor cool off for about a minute, with no load, so the thermal switch does not kick in.

Good product, but should include a straight file and file guide to complete a sharpening. This product is easy to use. I am not a handyman or a tool guy but I would recommend this product if you use a chainsaw for five times per year.

Easy to use, works great. Once I got the angle right. I sharpened a 20" chain in no time. I do suggest using an old chain first to practice with. I have a couple teeth shorter than the rest. It sharpens quick. I love it.

so bought this in june 2024, never got around to using the chainsaw till 6/25, was so dull would barely cut. So i got this out, followed the you tube video, WOW did it work great, blade was like brand new and took less than 3 minutes to do.

I have had my EzzDoo for 3 years. I live on 20 acres and we cut a lot of trees. We rotate 10 blades and sharpen them all in sitting when they are dull. This little grinder keep them very sharp. It has even refurbished defunct blades we thought hopeless. The company has great customer service. After three years and hundreds of grinds our threaded locking nut wore out. With a big winter storm that took down a lot of trees, my Huskvarna 460 Rancher 24" saw was getting a real workout and the chain needed sharpening or replacing. Hand sharpening has always been hit or miss for me as I don't need to very often, so, not a pro by a long shot. I decided to get this sharpener and, WOW, for ease of use, quality of build, and outcome, you can't beat this, I will never go back to manually sharpening.It comes well packaged with 3 blade sizes, tools for charging the files/blades, and a small instruction sheet. The instructions aren't super detailed but it has a QR code that will get you signed up for your warranty, download a full set of instructions, and give you a discount code for buying more little files/blades.I watched a couple of videos online, but using this sharpener is pretty self explanatory. You need to know or look up your chain for your saw for the angle and size blade to use. Swapping out the blade is like any other rotary tool and there is a little metal guide to help ensure you have the right blade. The guide can be used or not, I used it as it did help keep me honest with the correct angle.As far as actually sharpening the saw, I found that just a little pressure and moving the blade back and forth a couple of times for each tooth was plenty. After you have done a few teeth, you will get a feel for the best method that works. It took less than 10 minutes to do both sides of the saw and all the teeth.After sharpening the saw, I had a couple of trees to cut up and was amazed at how sharp it was, it was cutting through hard wood like butter. I would have sworn I had a brand new chain on the saw, it was that good.I cannot recommend this sharpener enough. It will save you money on chains and is the easiest and fastest way to sharpen dull chains.
