Has anyone used this to make sun tea? How did it work out?

I use mine to make sun tea every few days, it works perfectly. I leave the flip top lid slightly open so no pressure builds. I'm on here now because after I make sun tea I put in freezer to cool and I forgot it yesterday and it exploded LOL. Time to buy a new one.

Can I pour hot water from my tea kettle into this pitcher at room temperature?

Yes, I pour boiling water into room temp canning jars all the time with no issues. The jar will get hot though, so don't handle without mitts. I might be concerned about putting the plastic cap on directly after filling with hot water, as the plastic might not fare as well as the glass.

Will the filter from the county line cold brew coffee maker fit this jar?

The filter works with any 1-quart mason jar including Ball, Kerr, and Golden Harvest as well as our custom County Line Kitchen Mason Jars
